Arevalo Ortiz was already on felony pretrial release for allegedly
biting another cop who arrested him less than three weeks earlier.
Video of the latest arrest quickly went viral, showing Arevalo Ortiz yelling at bystanders and bracing his foot against the patrol car doorframe. The footage shows him fighting with officers as they try to get him into the back of the squad outside the Standard Club shelter, 330 South Plymouth, around 6 p.m. on June 24.
A crowd gathered around the officers and tensions grew. The cops declared a “10-1” police emergency for backup, and one officer held off the crowd by wielding his Taser.
The bigger question is why does this a$$hole have any teeth?

This jacka$$, who obviously cannot fight, bites cops after being restrained. You think he hasn't bitten anyone who has ever been in a fight with him, who put him in a headlock in a bar, who dragged him out of a dog pile?
We've been to those bars, we've responded to calls at those bars, and the offending party often goes to the hospital because after the fight, the guy(s) who got bitten usually made sure that was the last time that tactic was remotely effective. You think in these days of POD cams, cell phone cams, car and body cams, we'd suggest a cop bust this a$$hole in the teefuses?

As an “old timer” I can remember the days when things like biting an officer would result in, ahem, some form of street justice. I’m sure if the biter had been found guilty and the sentence issued and carried out right there that he most likely would have never done such a thing again fearing the consequences of his actions. Times have changed, things are different but gosh it feels good to remember those days of yesteryear.
This is the new normal. Our "unregistered visitors" will continue doing violent crime to cops and civilians. More kids and women will be violated But as long as they are registered to vote, the demoncraps see and hear nothing. They are truly evil to the core.

Well Old Timer, things have changed. We have cameras everywhere and an environment where if you tune someone up not only will you lose your job, but will go to prison. Would you risk that…chance losing your income and then possibly your house and your children’s tuition etc…it sucks but it is the way things are
