Prolific Robbers

These two are f#$%ing up the curve:

  • Eleven people were robbed at gunpoint in less than an hour early Monday on the Southwest Side.

Four robberies occurred along different blocks in and near the Brighton Park neighborhood and each included two gunmen who forced the victims to the ground while they took their belongings before fleeing in a dark-colored SUV.

Crime is down!

Oh, and Chicago is short 2,000 Officers with a hiring freeze beginning today:

  • The mayor has warned “sacrifices will be made.” Those sacrifices will include freezing hiring at a $2 billion-a-year Chicago Police Department that already is roughly 2,000 sworn officers short of the strength it had just a few years ago.
  • Civic Federation President Joe Ferguson said including police and fire in the hiring freeze is “very unusual” but a “clear recognition of the magnitude of the problem and the responsibility on the fiscal front to get the house in order.”

The question now is whether the freeze will continue through next year and whether police spending will be reduced in 2025 by permanently eliminating police vacancies from the budget.

Gee, if only there was some sort of warning, some lone "insignificant" voice calling out from a free, publicly accessible blog that was sounding the alarm about this five years ago and more.

So with a hiring freeze, the academy is not going to hire 200-300 training officers to replace the sworn? Does explain why lemart was cancelled? I am asking for the friend.

I take it our favorite cop hating Northwest Side high school, Steinmetz College Prep, didn't get the hiring freeze memo as they just hired a 4th assistant principal at $120,000 a year. This as all other neighborhood high schools with similar or less enrollments Steinmetz only have 2 assistant principals.

This new Steinmetz assistant principal will work specially with School Safety. Oopsie, they were hired after the pepper spraying of 15 students last week by the gf of a banger getting his ass by 10 rival bangers in the lunchroom. Steinmetz security were MIA.

Hopefully this results in vigilantism becoming the norm. People need to understand that the police likely ain’t coming to save their ass when it matters most. While we can’t organize, promote or participate in job actions, I do believe encouraging the fine citizenry to handle their own bidnizz is kosher.

I say “shoot ‘n’ scoot” is the order of the day in deadly force scenarios and refuse to cooperate if and when the time comes. Volunteer nothing and lawyer up. Same flavor when encountering a thief or burglar. If the situation allows, beat them mercilessly… break multiple bones, gouge out eyeballs and permanently disfigure them before they have the opportunity to do the same to you. Remember, you feared for your life after all the shit you’ve seen on the news for years. These animals only understand pain and fear and you must meet them with greater force to be effective.

This concludes todays lesson.

Robbery is a violent crime. Robberies are all to common. A lot go unreported. Most people who have a choice on where they live don’t want to be in areas where this goes on. I remember a rainy night a few years ago, where two families on my block had their garages burglarized, they moved out within 3 months after. I know everyone who is a victim of a crime doesn’t leave but, this is the way they handled things.

An honest analysis would include short street cops, not just cops. Get the turds away from their desks and in the street.

Typical DemoRats, spend, spend and spend some more until they get to this predicament. Most of all, let's give away millions to illegal freeloaders who don't contribute anything (except to the crime stats). Nice job Bonehead Mayor.

"Chicago, once celebrated as the 'Jewel of the Lake,' is rapidly declining due to a lack of effective leadership—from the mayor all the way down to the 50 underperforming city officials. It’s frustrating that they fail to hold Kim Foxx accountable for her refusal to fulfill her duties, while Governor J.B. Pritzker signed the no cash bail bill without considering its impact. Meanwhile, these leaders are shielded by large police escorts that could be better utilized patrolling the crime-ridden streets. The city deserves better."

Hold on a second—there was a program that allowed the feds to fund training using experienced, retired officers. However, when Larry and his team took over, the focus shifted toward 'friends and family' programs, resulting in the termination of contracts. As a result, scores of experienced officers were pulled off the streets and sent to the academy, while less experienced recruits were brought in. This shift raises serious concerns about the effectiveness of our policing efforts.

The only sacrifice Johnson is making is the tax paying citizens of Chicago. One way or another the tax paying citizens of Chicago will be the ones faced with this burden. Leave while you can.

Reminds me of one of the Die Hard movies. “What happens if you call 911 and no one answers?”

Exactly what “sacrifices” are the Mayor and his ilk going to undertake?

These two f'n up the curve.....?
That's is a very normal average per hour for a crew of 2-4 robbers.
Seems like the new normal is 5 - 10 robberies per district. Then they'll move to another area and do 5 - 10 robberies. They cannot quench their thirst for robbing, pistol whipping, carjacking and shooting people.
I'm sure the hiring freeze will add to current violent crimes numbers.

The consent Decree was forced on CPD. The Feds wanted nothing to do with it but Lisa Madigan (among others) pushed it at the state level to keep the feds off her dad and the corrupt Dems in Springfield.
