If true, then hats off to the 017 Officers:
- Last year,
Community Policing Officers from Chicago’s 17th District organized a
prom clothing drive for Roosevelt High School, collecting hundreds of
donated dresses and suits for students in need. Officers set up racks of
clothing at the school, allowing students to browse and select outfits,
with a seamstress even volunteering to tailor dresses.
This year, Roosevelt High School refused to allow officers inside, instructing them to simply drop off the clothing, citing concerns that some students might feel "scared" by their presence. To their credit the officers refused and going to the more welcoming (and not insane) Schurz High School.
This is how you stop the progressive bullshit in general. They don't want you around, then don't go there. Go where you're appreciated or the beneficiaries are thankful and screw the entitled.

I had the same thing happen to me in 005. All the f/1 caps girls were looking for prom dresses. I told them I had approximately 20 beautiful dresses from weddings over the years. They literally all looked around at each other and laughed me out of the office. I guess my f/2 dresses weren't good enough.

CrAPS should do this in the station community room and send notices out to schools in the district, students with school ID can enter. Have them come to you.

Bid spots would make it even worse. Caps is a failed program, but at least it shelters decent working cops from being forced to back up pansies and Barbies on real jobs. SDSC bids would also be stupid considering old timers barely know how to operate computers and again would only lead to more slacking off than already goes on. Bid doesn’t solve everything, usually it only hampers effective policing. Some scrub bid comes into the district and you have no way of removing them. If it’s a management transfer though, at the very least you have some leverage to get them to do some work.

A zoom suit is when you wear a suit on your upper body, but boxers or sweatpants on your lower body... for zoom meetings. It was popularized during the great covid scam of the early 2020s. Zoom suits were often paired with zoom mugs, which resembled coffee mugs, but were filled with alcoholic beverages. Eventually, people went back to work in person, causing the zoom suit to fall out of fashion, except for most federal employees, who were still working from home for some unknown reason.
