Oh, No! Snow!

In case anyone forgot, it's winter:

  • Over 90 million people are under winter weather alerts from the Midwest to the Northeast, as a significant winter storm brings snow and ice this weekend.

Winter alerts are in effect for portions of 19 states from the Midwest to the Northeast.

Snow has been moving across the Great Lakes Region on Saturday, with cities like Green Bay and Detroit seeing light snow.

Snow will begin across much of the Northeast by Saturday evening, with heavy snowfall expected overnight. There is also a potential for icing across much of southern Pennsylvania and into the Mid-Atlantic.

In other words....normal.

Drive careful, watch out for frozen illegals.

That's what the media does; makes mountains out of molehills. And look at Fauci. They're paying attention to ME! Remember how he told Rachel Maddow that he'd wanted to do her show?

Fear porn from the weather bunnies. Was in school for 67 snow, shoveled snow for almost 7 decades, worked the big one in 79 for weeks and plowed snow for the city and had my own trucks for decades. The last 10 years have been damn near tropical compared to the Chicago I grew up in compared to recent winters. I have 2 snowblower a decade old that probably have 12 hours on them. And yet the media talks like it's the end of the world every time it snows in winter. Idiots reporting for soft liberals who can barely make it through out a day without a safe space. This place is a joke. I would love to see the mutant conehead handle a 2 foot blizzard that shuts down the city for weeks especially when the mob guys at s&s fuck him over like they did bilandic. Play skool gubmint.

Hello!! Its Chicago in wintertime!!! I guess we never had snow before if you listen to all the tv stations...and schools closing before any flakes even fall?? MY god i used to walk through blizzards and bitter cold to school without them even closing. Nowadays, the schools are just looking for an excuse for the teachers to get another day off, something our failing kids cannot afford.

I know. It’s tiresome. I had a paper route in ‘79. I still got my papers delivered. The snow drifts reached the garage roof. We had our own sledding hill. I think we had only one snow day. Now, it’s any excuse to work from home.

Watch the media bend and twist a snowstorm into Climate Change nonsense. They just hate the fact that the good Lord controls our weather

Old timer here says...
The Chicago blizzard of 1967 was the worst and biggest snowstorm in Chicago history.
This blizzard included 53-mile-per-hour winds, white-out conditions, six-foot snow drifts, and 23 inches of snow which fell steadily for 29 hours straight

Jane Byrne says....I'll make Chicago work for YOU !

20.3 inches | Jan. 12-Jan. 14, 1979
Snow piled up to 29 inches in some places by the end of the day on Jan. 14. This is the storm that cost a mayor his job and paved the way for Chicago’s first woman mayor.
Chicago Mayor Michael Bilandic couldn’t get the plows out fast enough, and he ticked off African-American residents by ordering CTA trains to skip South Side stops.
. Five people died as a result of the storm, including a man who was killed by an out-of-control snow plow that hit 34 cars. O’Hare Airport was closed until Jan. 15.
Jane Byrne replaced him

1 inch of snow is snowmagedden. Used to be it took it took a foot to start being an inconvenience. Pussifacation of Chicago.

Grew up during the Blizzard of '67. Worked during '79. Back then, this predicted "storm" would have barely made the news. On a side note, I like the snow, but am less tolerant of the bitter cold (-20 with wind chill) these days.
