A boy charged with the murder of his 16-year-old girlfriend used a Facebook AI tool to look up the number of years a teenager can be sentenced for murder, prosecutors said.
The 15-year-old boy was ordered held in custody after he was charged with murder in the slaying of Kaylah Aleah Love whose body was found last week in Horan Park on the city’s West Side.
The boy, who is not being named because he is a minor, was expressionless as his mother sat behind him at a Juvenile Court hearing in front of Judge Stuart F. Lubin on Monday morning.
A motive was not disclosed during the hearing, and the two were described as being in a dating relationship and the boy was her classmate at Manley High School.
Because this is completely normal behavior, right Conehead? Nothing demonic at all. And the internet phone searches about "How much time can a teen get for murder?" Not a single demonic lesson to be drawn. (answer - not much at all)
As a side note, Manley High School is one of those schools built to hold around 1,000 students, but that has under 100. It's darkly amusing that even with all that staff and administration, no one picked up on any warning signs.

More abortions among certain populations = less crimes. Republicans and conservatives in Illinois should get behind the one blue state policy that encourages undesirable populations to end their (mostly single parent) pregnancies, before their offspring grow up to be the next wave of criminals.
Marshall H.S. is a few blocks from Manley. It was a regular sports powerhouse when it had an enrollment of 1100 plus. You don’t hear about it anymore as it currently schools less than 200 kids. Any reason why these schools can’t be combined into one, or maybe closed? How about it Brandon? Westinghouse H.S. pretty much the same story.

So, nothing about the two squads that responded to the 911 call and managed to see nothing although there was maybe a dead body right there? Or showing up for a nother 911 call and finding nothing and leaving while a maniac was right there where the call came from and injured another person after the cops left?

i drive by Manley on the way to 26th, i drove down i think its Polk or whatever the side street is and looked at the parking lot, plenty of faculty there, you'd think it was a full school. not 60 or so that actually attend. what do those people do????????
They got a call of a fight, they arrived on scene, and no one was fighting. Why am I going to look for a dead body in a park because there was a call of a fight? It’s 011, these animals are always fighting. I’m not getting out and searching for dead murdered bodies every time I respond to a call for fighting. What other unrelated stuff should I get out and look for while responding to a call of people fighting? It’s the 011th district, it’s not uncommon to get out of roll call and have 4-5 jobs on your box already. If I’m called for people fighting, I’m looking for people fighting. No fighting? 19P and onto the next call. If someone calls for a dead murdered body in the park, I’ll show up and I’ll be sure check the park for a dead murdered body. If someone calls and says the guy who did the murdering is on scene wearing X Y and Z, there’s a real decent chance I’ll go ask him if he murdered the body right there. Maybe be more outraged at the animals in this city that can’t stop murdering each other. Or just keep blaming the police for everything, it’s working out really well for this low quality dump of a city.
