No one called for another person shot:
Nobody called 911 to report gunfire before a 26-year-old woman was found shot near a West Side gas station early Monday.
She is the latest shooting victim who may have benefited from the city’s ShotSpotter gunfire detection technology, which Mayor Brandon Johnson disconnected in September.
Aside from the entertainment value of these incidents, we would hope (haha) that other people (non-police) reading the CWB blog would be shocked and appalled at how little human life means on the south and west sides. So little that people don't even bother to call 9-1-1 on nearly forty shooting incidents.
We know we're not shocked. We're entertained.
But we're already going to Hell for assorted offenses.

Shots fired of the south and west sides are like fireworks on the 4th of July. Nobody pays attention to them and aren’t going to waste their time calling them in to 911.
Perhaps have police officers drive with their windows open? Maybe they'd hear it instead?

The people who end up as victims are likely this numbskull mayor’s voting block (if they voted at all), so it’s a wash. The only chance of future Brandon Johnson’s not getting elected is if a few white liberals were in the tally.
Love the “Amish” line, totally disregard any ignoramuses attackers of free speech. If they are not entertained by what they read, then maybe they can amuse and/or enlighten us with their whit instead of just taking snide attacks on those that actually contribute !
I'm surprised no grieving family is suing the city yet for cone head removing shot spotter causing the death of their dear departed Ghetto lottery ticket.
It could happen, but a precedent was set when that one culinary school victim sued the city for the CPD No Chase policy (the vehicle involved had an earlier chase stopped & he fell victim as a result of no chase)- that lawsuit got tossed.

Came on in '81 back in the days of carrying the coco-bola "persuader" and S&W K38 spinner. The shitheads actually feared us but even then I think the writing was starting to show on the graffiti walls. Put in my 20 and got out then started my own biz out in the western burbs. Retired the other year and life is sweet.
