This department doesn't really know how to avoid problems in it's near future does it? Whoever is making the calls, or being told to make the "right call" is wrong almost 100 percent of the time.

Waller never passed the power test at the academy. He was hidden downstairs at the range after his class graduated. And feeling sexy Snelling was the head physical fitness instructor. Things that make you go hmmmm...
The CPD has always had a tradition of protecting the connected no matter what. When you’re just a regular “nobody” you definitely know this and have to live an honest life or you will suffer the consequences. The connected don’t have this worry.

Eddies som gave his dad a kidney so they suspended the FINAL POWER TEST for the entire academy. Not just him. I really hate the dinosaurs on this job. Mad because they were too lazy to work. Keith Calloway was Deputy Chief of the academy while junior Johnson was unable to pass the test, so they changed the rules for him. Then Johnson's daddy made Calloway Chief of Internal Affairs. Now Calloway is in charge of ILETSB, for the ultimate irony. Ignore/change the "standards" for your friend's kid, get promoted, then get a cushy retirement spot deciding those same standards.

That girthy snake made a lot of promises to a lot of people in the name of Fred. Anyway Jesus gave me the promotion I always wanted but Fred couldn't save Fat Man Barz from getting dumped twice.
Again, was the City or Department asked why the power test was suspended while Little Eddy was in the academy and then later reinstated…you don’t think people who were not hired because they failed the power test wouldn’t sue

He gave him a kidney A YEAR BEFORE he graduated from the academy. Which part of the POWER test says you get an exemption for medical issues? Which part says the test can be scrapped because ONE PERSON can't pass it? If you claim it was only for the FINAL POWER TEST, how was he able to pass the several POWER tests he would've had to pass prior to that? You're really trying to legitimize this corruption by saying "well they let everyone skip it, so it's fine?" They did that to avoid having it look even more like a special exemption made for a connected hire, which is exactly what it was.
