And there's still a projected budget deficit of $3.2 Billion for 2026.
The Illinois debt is around $158 Billion.
There's less money coming from Washington and if Fata$$ continues to give ILLEGAL aliens Medicare in violation of Federal Law, all those numbers are going to go up even more.
But yeah, brag about what taxpayers are being forced to pay.

Most people are too dumb to realize that the money came from them, and that the state STILL has massive debt. They'll just think, "oh, that's great," and go on about their business.

$54B Revenue / 12.7M Population = $4,300 in taxes per person. For a 5 person household the total is $21,500. That does not include local taxes, including your property taxes. Do you feel like you are getting your money’s worth????

Hate to say it but there was a projected 4.1 billion projected deficit for 2024… it ended up 54 billion. What was it due to??? The stock market, Trump and yes, higher taxes levied against the people. Now, take that 54 billion, invest 50 billion, take the other 4 billion to cover 2026 and try to balance a budget AND make some money on money saved THEN the interest on that 50 billion start investing in pensions or buying down debt.. it really is pretty simple.. you just can’t be so woke that any extra money you have you just have to blow on BS..
