Like Mother, Like Daughter

Have you ever written or received a Personal Service Citation, a.k.a. a "Mover"?

For the non-Law Enforcement readers, there are many types of Movers....some classified as "hazardous" like running stop lights or speeding. Others are "non-hazardous" like no front plate or other compliance violations.

Some are mail-in violations where the Officer gives you an instruction sheet and an envelope to mail in your plea. You can plead Guilty and pay the fine or perhaps take Traffic School. Or you can plead Not Guilty and ask for an appearance before a judge. 

Or you can blow it all off, have your license suspended, get a Bench Warrant issued and end up arrested at some point.

Unless you're Crimesha Foxxx's daughter. Then you can miss Court Dates in Room CL07 on....

• 15 July, 
• 20 August and 
• 26 September

....and still not have a Bench Warrant issued. There may have been a "30-day pending notice of continuation/ pending suspension" on file, but that was from the 20 August date - FORTY days ago.

These appear to have been compliance violations. Count One was no stop lights (meaning brake lights?) and Count Two was No Valid Registration.

These are simple fixes. You show up in court with a receipt from the a reputable (or disreputable) mechanic showing Issue #1 was fixed and you bring in a piece of paper showing the car is properly registered to a fixed abode for Issue #2 and guess what? 

• the judge usually dismisses the charges! 

In fact, in Cook County, we will almost guarantee that if Crimesha made a simple phone call on the court date, the judge would probably meet daughter in the hallway, dismiss the case out there and ask for an autograph or whatever politically connected bullshit goes on when the political class needs favors.

But the Court File shows she hasn't even bothered to mail anything in or appear in court. Just some more casual disrespect to the Courts from the Foxxx family. Must be nice to know there are no consequences for your actions - pretty much a summary of Crimesha's entire career.
