Chicago police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left two men dead in the street early Sunday in the Morgan Park neighborhood.
Officers responded to an EMS call around 1:15 a.m. Sunday in the 11700 block of South Marshfield Avenue, where they found two adult men unresponsive and lying in the roadway. One victim was identified as a 30-year-old man. The second victim had not yet been identified as of Monday morning.
Never understood why Vehicular Homicides weren't counted in the totals. Well, we "understood," we just never agreed with it.

10 Comments:
And why aren't drug-induced homicides included in the total? We would run out of popcorn if the person who sold lethal drugs to a person who overdosed was charged with homicide or if said OD was classified as a homicide - as it should be.
The sentence for vehicular homicide is way less than a regular homicide as well. Imagine if gang members started driving each other over, would they try to ban cars? Would they call it "car violence"?
Cars don't kill people and folks, the drivers do. Unlike guns...
but all those shooting occurred where I always see "hate has no home here"
Yawn! Where’s lunch?
Keep the line moving.
Exactly!!!
Missed this on WBBM, LOL. Still talking of the ICE agents, and how all of "Chicago is afraid.".... "No bias, no agenda" as they say...
New CTA is not for bad knees, overweight OG PO's. It was shameful to see them unable to board a shuttle van or climb some stairs in the subway. I hope they held their breath in the piss bum elevator on the way up. Respect yourself and retire, you do have the time.
Are you describing the desk guy from 016 on the 3rd watch???
What a great guy to work the OT with but, man oh man, is he out of shape !!!
