Facial Recognition Again
Once again, a tool democrats don't want police to be able to use....because it helps find criminals:
Facial recognition helped investigators identify the man who allegedly helped suspected cop killer Alphonso Talley violently rob an Albany Park dollar store last weekend less than four hours before Talley used a hidden pistol to shoot two CPD officers who were guarding him during a hospital exam, officials said.
The revelation comes as four state legislators have signed on to legislation that would ban law enforcement agencies across Illinois from using facial recognition as an investigative tool.
One day soon, these creatures are going to demand the banning of Body Cams. It's already happening in other states, so give it some time.
In the meantime, there's still a chance to remove some of these idiots from office.

Alphanso Talley is now locked in Stateville/NRC. "Reception." He had been wanted as an absconder, so many parole violations, before the shootings. Hope he has a good long wait as the latest charges are developed.

I don't get it personally. You have two people doing a job, three really with Ms. Velazqeuz, going about their jobs, probably and most likely been good people their whole lives. Law abiding, pay taxes and bills, love their families. And the whole of the black caucus, every single one, is aligned against them and instead protects the two shitheads. They do everything in their power to keep them out of jail regardless of the crimes they commit. All over some perceived notion that there's too many black men in jail. There's not too many, this proves it.
If it's not initially included with the activation of automotive interior visual surveillance, interior audio surveillance will soon follow. Look for bees in all the bonnets of the anti-facial recognition crowd as their mug and intermost utterances are surveilled.
Both Minnesota (former home of leftist icon George Floyd) and Washington state want to limit PUBLIC ACCESS to bodycam footage. Apparently, too many people are siding with police after seeing this footage, and (gasp!) think that whatever force was used was appropriate for the occasion. Bodycams really ruined the narrative that "police only arrest black folk" or that they use force against "people of color" solely because of "racism."
If they actually solved a problem, they would have nothing to run on. And I would bet a dollar to a donut that more than a few of those black caucus members have relatives who are criminals of one sort or another. Maybe not gun-toting thugs, but fraudsters and con artists.
So Talley is in NRC, and Jeron X. Tate, 18 yo from Maywood is locked up in CCJ Div. 8.

Why would democrats be against this? Is it possible that too many black criminals may be held accountable? It doesn't look good? The racial makeup of criminals in custody is not right. More and more failures in our safety, because we are woke now, and you have liberal democratic money thrown all over the place to make things like this and safer act become rule of law.
