CTA Crime Continues
The CTA is still a hotbed of crime:
- An eight-time felon is facing robbery charges after Chicago police say he participated in a three-on-one attack aboard a Blue Line train that left a 61-year-old O’Hare employee with serious injuries. In an unusual twist, it’s the second time Lamonte Taylor-Gwin has been charged with a CTA robbery after being identified through a publicly released CPD “seeking to identify” bulletin.
"eight-time felon" tells you everything you need to know about Conehead's and Prokulous's failure to control crime.
Chicago police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who pushed a 69-year-old man down the stairs inside a CTA station near the Magnificent Mile on Wednesday afternoon.
Mass Transit Detectives say the suspect approached the victim from behind as he walked down the staircase inside the Chicago-State Red Line Station at 800 North State Street around 1:50 p.m. on June 24. The assailant grabbed the man’s shoulder and shoved him down the stairs before fleeing the station, leaving the victim with “minor” injuries, according to CPD.
Maybe the feds can force the issue on Conehead and Fata$$ since these crimes are occurring on trains - trains are a big deal to feds, even if it's just a "light rail" system.
