Three days after warning of a City Hall housecleaning fueled by disloyalty, Mayor Brandon Johnson broke out the broom.
It happened quicker than anyone expected. In rapid-fire succession, the mayor’s office announced that Aviation Commissioner Jamie Rhee and Civilian Office of Police Accountability chief Andrea Kersten, both holdovers from previous administrations, were “retiring.” Also leaving is another holdover, OEMC director Jose Tirado, who has a job lined up.
The Chicago Sun-Times reported earlier this week that Rhee was among those whose days could be numbered as Johnson seeks to act on his claim that he should have “cleaned house faster” when he took office and now plans to correct that mistake by sending people packing.
“If you ain’t with us, you just gotta go,” the mayor said.
While every cop should applaud the firing of the CuckfOPA witch and the OEMC departure appears completely voluntary, the Aviation Commissioner is garnering assorted aldermanic praise, which may hint at Conehead making yet another misstep. The appointments he makes moving forward will tell everyone more.

They just finished Terminal 5 and the management company for the terminal has told city officials they should sue CCA and Powers for all the things that are wrong with the Terminal. The guy for the city who was in charged of got fired right after that,But they keep paying this CCA to build these new terminals. This is why the airlines want to pull out of O'Hare.

Even if they made an exemption for her residency ( she lives in Flossmoor with a backup condo in the east Loop,)she would never get the support. If they waive residency for her ,then they would have to do it for a lot of the mayors cabinet, like Lightfoot did. Lots of aldermen, especially the ones that hate Lightfoot and Preckwinkle, will put the kibosh on it. All of her dirty conduct, WILL be exposed and fair game in council hearings...like her failed malicious prosecutions of cops ;her physical abuse/ beatings of her husband, covered up courtesy of Flossmoor PD; her failure to do the work to keep an active law license; the Jussie Smollett cover ups; her collusion with Obamas to subvert the law; her payoffs from George Soros; and her worshipping of gangster rappers, one of which has been charged with multiple murders. Plus lots of neighborhoods hate her for releasing criminals back into their communities. So let her throw her oversized hat in the ring...I'm gonna grab a big box of popcorn and watch the fireworks.

Kersten is one of the worst, but you should see the corruption, incompetence destruction and mayhem Ando and Fairley left. You can blame Sharon Fairley for bringing Andrea Kersten on board. That viper is at the University of Chicago, embedded with the other police hating lawyers and movements in that over ranked snake pit, spreading their our special brand of police hating venom among the indigenous anti cop groups on that hateful campus.
