Nationwide Body Cam Victories
Remember when we were all hesitant about body cameras? They've been a help in many shootings despite the obvious shortcomings of only providing one direction of reference, but multiple cameras can alleviate some of that.
Truth be told, they've revealed quite a bit about the people cops end up stopped - especially politicians:
- Oklahoma State Senator Regina Goodwin got pulled over on a traffic stop by a Tulsa County Deputy. Body camera footage of the stop shows Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols showed up after the citation was already issued. Goodwin's attorney and a Tulsa City Councilor also showed up.
The video shows Goodwin refused to provide her driver's license, even after the deputy asked for it more than a dozen times. It then shows the deputy handcuffing Goodwin and then putting her in his car.
As suspected, a democrat.
A longtime New Jersey politician unleashed a profanity-laden rant at a cop for pulling him over last month — telling the officer that he’s his “boss,” body cam footage shows.
Paulsboro Councilman Theodore D. Holloway tore into the local cop after being flagged for allegedly running a stop sign near Penn Line Road and West Adams Street just after 10 p.m. on Jan. 4, according to footage obtained by Fox News Digital. Holloway, who has served the borough for 12 years, initially appeared bewildered by the cop — who appeared to recognize the councilman — but quickly reverted to ripping into him.
“I’m the one that brought you on! I put you on!” Holloway yells at the camera before threatening to call Police Chief Gary Kille, the footage shows. “I’m the one that hired you! You actually pulled over an elected official. … You’re pulling over your boss. I’m literally your boss.”
Actually, if the cop is a taxpayer, he's your boss CouncilAss.
So people complain cops aren't doing enough....then when they do to someone connected, they're ripped for that, too. But cameras give everyone the opportunity to see what's going on.

No meaningful punishment for that behavior, they're just trying to get the cop in trouble. Styling and profiling for their constituents. (Although, spouses of people like that have been known to receive a stolen car investigative phone call when Mr. / Mrs. Shnitty's car was found parked in an alley, or elsewhere, away from their property, at 02:00.)
All of that behavior over a payable by fine ticket. If I was ever lucky enough…yes lucky enough…to be pulled over by one of “those” politicians who acted that way, I would be damn sure to tell them on body cam that I was letting them go because I was in fear they would use their political power to destroy my career. Of course after saying that they would then realize what they did and then insist upon me giving them the ticket-which I would then refuse and then leave. Also knowing them, they would then contact a supervisor who would try and order me to give them the ticket, which I would refuse.
This reminds of the time the defunct 021dst; did a traffic mission on or nearby U of C campus, boy did they step in it. Those rotten evil people U of C administration called their prostitute toni p to bitch quote "we the good people". They don't think their shit stink and to have a criminal back them up show you how rotten elected officials are.
Every time I see these people I realize that they are truly our ...."betters".
I had my issues with Politicians and mainly Democrats in Cook County, just give them the ticket and then leave!
I actually like the body cameras because it captures how much of an asshole a lot of Politicians are!

This is how they usually acted on almost every traffic stop I ever conducted. as usual, it's the raciss Po-lice who are the problem.

Saw the video last week. Entitled, of course.
So the suspect was having a mental health incident due to his consumption of weed and pcp. He calls the cops. They respond. The family has hired Ben Crump to do what he does best. There was suppose to be a day of demonstrations to support the family.
Then ISP released the video. Suddenly all the transparency issues went away and along with Mr. Crump.

At first the "community" insisted on cops wearing body cameras because of the endless and non-stop police violence. Bodies were piling-up like Chairman Mao was running the show, remember?
Then the actual footage started getting released and it nearly always vindicated the cops and convicted the "community". Now cameras are bad.
All of this brings to mind when Marion Berry got busted on camera smoking a crack-pipe with a whore in a hotel. The community refused to believe what they saw. When you are dealing with such ignorant, brain-dead fools, you can't ever do right, so do what makes sense for you. Body cameras are a plus for cops and the population as a whole. They expose the how stupid these ghetto communities really are. They are still on the plantation....

On occasion, I'd tell them to have their attorney call the state's attorney if they're looking for dismissal - it would cost them more in attorney fees than the ticket, either way it went. They never figured it out - geniuses.
The body cams saved my ass a few times when even my bosses were hesitant to believe me. After they looked at it and the truth came out they couldn’t even look at me, they acted like those liars had some valid complaint. They slowly learned I don’t lie , nor abuse my office! People lie about us all the time and we sometimes have shitty bosses. My truth was my salvation and those fuckers had to eat crow! 30 years with only 15 cr # and most exonerated! Never took a day suspension! Use those cameras stay professional , keep your pride and integrity.
After the video was released, he still got reelected by his community.

Many decades ago I was a dumb lead foot kid. When caught you were caught. Simple.yes sir no sir thank you sir. Even at minimum wage the ticket wasn't life altering and it cooled your jets for awhile so you didn't get more and get suspended cuz for a kid no wheels means no girls. Never understood these overpaid politicians throwing a hissy over minor traffic.and as someone posted they probably have a backdoor way to get it non suited. Assholes one and all
