To The SOS/013 guys who continue to post outlandish statements about the incident in 13 back in Dec., please knock it off. I have been the Police and have been in SOS several years ago having worked with the best Coppers in SOS, for that I was promoted to Homicide Detective. My arrest record can stand for itself and I would appreciate it if my personnal integrety would not be questioned. My family has been associated with this great Department for many years along with my partner's family. We both collectively have the upmost respect for the Police Officers in Units and in Districts alike. However, I am disappointed in the actions of a few Offices whom were misled by a new Supervisor, who has been involved in more fucked up shit than most of us. I do not hold any bad personal feelings toward the on duty Officers who responded to my call for an assist. Although, professionally I am deeply disappointed and disgusted with my fellow Officers who followed reckless Supervision and did not assist me in the incident. The offender should have been arrested and the 911 tapes along with several witnesses have since made statements contradicting the Sgt.'s account of events. I regret that this situation has moved to another level, however it is necessary to clear the name and integrety of myself and my partner. I urge other Officers who responded to step forward when asked and do the right thing. I have handled many Police Shootings in my career, some situation may have been a little sticky and the outcome was always satifactory to all involved. Finally, to the Officers who have since called me and my partnes expressing remorse, I thank you and will continue to handle your Police shooting as I would the Officers who have wronged my partner and I. I will continue to conduct myself with the upmost respect and integrety you and all in Blue deserve.

I only have one question A-1 Detective....since you were in a bar, and obviously had been drinking, would you have been able to take a breath test and not come in at 0.08 or more? If you were, then I understand your anger...if not, then you don't understand what a gift you were given.
With all the heat such an arrest would have entailed, as well as a watch commanders package (mandatory when a PO is an assault/battery victim) it would have been unlikely the W/C would not have made you take a breath test.
BUT....we'll never know will we? And for the record, if you had M/F'd me (assuming that part of the rumor is true) we both would have taken time, because I would have knocked your lights out. I don't know about the supervisor there, but I personally don't take that kind of shit from anyone. Again, if that part is true.
I'm glad though that it seems to have worked out for all concerned, except for those assholes who outed you on the blog. I don't care what you may have done, there was no excuse for that.

When your alcohol-fueled escapade dies down , you decide to ressurect it on this board. Just as suburban school districts display a wrecked car in front of them during the holidays to warn of the dangers of drinking and driving, your posts should serve the same purpose for those thinking of using their PC to gain sympathy when they fuck up. Your computer should have a court ordered breathalyzer interlock attached that you have to blow into to allow you internet access. "Homicide Detective?" You were in Youth and then assigned to Sex before winding your way into partnering up with a guy assigned to Homicide and attaining the "rank" of Homicide Detective through "marriage". As far as clearing your partner's name, did you discuss openning up this can of worms on here again with him? Bet you didn't. You really are your own worst fucking enemy. Unplug your keyboard and give it to someone, then tell them under no circumstances are they to allow you to have it when drinking.

I'm the one who started ripping on a certain A/1 Detective for giving himself the title "Homicide Detective". Renaming Violent Crimes Homicide/Gangs/Sex has to be one of the dumbest things Phil has done. Homicide clearances are static, but the egos have greatly increased. I am a dick assigned to H/G/S and yes, I work on murders and police shootings, but I am just a detective. Tomorrow I could fall out of favor and find myself flying rubber dogshit out of Hong Kong. I'm sick of hearing the "Homicide Detective" bullshit. If you are good at your job, your peers will know it. You don't need to constantly pump your own nads (we think you're a goof) and so does everyone at 26th Street). I know who you are and your shirt is blue. Your #1 job is supporting P.O.'s. You can brag all you want about working on police shootings, but it doesn't mean shit. Plenty of people work at things they suck at.
