Well, if 009 were to be able to handle the streets--ie. the "Beast", maybe they wouldn't have surpassed 007? We, Rangers, still believe the facts are incorrectly reported. We KNOW we have far more murders than 009 and we just ignore the lame-ass goofs in 009, who think they are for real. Get a clue 009! You will never be considered a busy district. You don't know how to deal with gangs. You spend most of your days writing parkers. We see you eating at D and D or Mc Donald's most the night. We see how your wagon sits at 51 Halsted over two hrs. If you were busy, then that wagon would be rolling to a fight, shooting, etc. Who you trying to convince you are a busy district? 007 and 011 know you ain't shit!

Good luck. I had the same thing happen, gangbangers all over the street spilling over from a house party trying to get one of their friends car open since the fucken idiot locked his keys in the car. So they are all standing around laughing at the fuck drinking their beers and pissing on peoples front lawn so I call in the disturbance. Half hour later they show up (not complaining about the response time, but get this) copper gets out, starts bullshitting with the guys, goes into his trunk (while still being surrounded by these fucking animals)and pulls out his slim jim to help the guy open his car. then drives off, giving it a 5F and leaves all these fuckers on the street. Fuck this neighborhood, the fucking mexicans are taking over, and it will soon be a fucking ghetto.

Are you new? At 2230hrs, all the afternoon cars are sitting on jobs and hiding and the early midnight cars won't be out until at least 2330hrs. At least that is how it is in my district and I bet that's how it is in 008. And I'm sure there were higher priority jobs on a Saturday night, too. You'd realize this if it wasn't YOUR neighborhood. Working an area where police live is the worst because thats where you find the most whiners even though you know how this job is.
Ciprani's in Clearing is closed for vacation so it's really a ghost town around here. When it's open, you can see the squadrol and other cars there every night.
Like I said before, the job ended with the coming of the little girls and the straight shifts.

OK please define the difference between a "busy district" and a slower one. If 11,7 and 9 are leading the city in homicides aren't they all busy. Worked the "Bring it back home roots festival" at 47th. & King last night. The Capt. and Lt. were good guys and left everybody alone...BUT....They stated that it wouldn't end at 2200 hrs. like the order stated. The Alderman ran the show and it would go till she said it would.

Effective 1 July 2006 your co-pay changed from $15 to $60 for Brand medicine (400% increase) and from $5-$10 to $20 for Generic medicine (200 to 400%). Thank you FOP and mr. donahoe for signing off on that contract item. (thank you straight ticket voting).
Go to Caremark.com and check your individual medicines, every one has gone up.
Caremark says they are only charging what our plan allows, and FOP says read your contract.
Many families use the home pharmacy for their spouses or children who have to take the same medicine's day after day, year after year.
The retired will be affected the most. Who can afford a 400% increase overnight? Did not the FOP see this mistake?
Many users have to buy multiple supplies each 90 days (diabetics), pills, insulin, test strips, needles, etc.
Your 90 cost may go from $60 for 4 $15 meds to $240 or more.
Ask your Doctor to see if any of your medicines can be written as Generic ($20 each for 90 day supply). Many can't and you will be stuck paying the $60 each med.
We know that costs rise, but 400% is a bit too steep for anybody. There goes you raise for 2006.

Hello, I have worked in 011 for 5 years and before that I was in 15 for 4 years. The City does not care about the police officer. 90% of the bosses do not care about the police officer. We have to care about each other. I read the blog every day and there are a lot of angry cops. I can't help but think that since they can't yell at their bosses they yell at each other on this blog. It doesn't matter where you work the point is you WORK!! We should have a complaint blog where we put down a bosses name (Sgt. Zelinsky) and then seriously list the things he does that are wrong/dangerous with hopes that an exempt can read this and move him for officer safety. We aren't gonna get a huge raise and nobody is gonna hand us the awards we are due but we can fix the safety issues first. So we need to start the complaint blog and start listing the dangerous bosses who can get us hurt if they aren't stopped now.
