018th District police shot and critically wounded a 13 suspect today after the suspect pointed what turned out to be a BB pistol at officers. Coverage at Channel 2, Channel 7, Sun Times and Tribune.
Bravo! Nice shooting. If there is any cosmic justice in the universe, this individual will die shortly.
Cold hearted? Too bad. You point what looks like a gun at police and you ought to be shot on general principle. The cops didn't just happen to pick this kid and a second subject out of the blue. They were directed to them by the victim who had just been stuck up. You buy chips in the game, you better be prepared to accept the consequences.
And the family members confronting police at the hospital? Every single one of them ought to be locked up. Promptly. And charged with Child Neglect, Endangerment and whatever else they can think of for raising a child who thinks it's ok to do stick-ups and point guns at the police. Fuck them. And the City better not be paying them a dime either.

I told you all that Hampton was behind all this racial bullshit. Someone in the law enforcmeent community emailed me about this matter. Hampton got his girlfriend pregnant, has hate in his blood just like his daddy, and now that he has plenty of $$$$ thanks to our city, now has plenty of time on his hands to stir up trouble.

Amy Jacobson is decidely anti-police. She has been since her arrival her several years ago. It's nice to know, however, that as hard as she tries, she can't get an anchor spot. She's a crummy reporter and at least NBC recognizes it. But she puts on a pretty face to the public and that's what sells commercials. That's her real talent, I guess.

Failure to follow the prescribed guidelines listed above may result in the officer being left to twist in the wind with no support from the City of Chicago or it's entity (CPD) but then again, so may adherence to this policy.

Today on WGN news @ 12:05 hrs the uncle of the robbery offender told reporters the shooting was not justified. Even though this guy, Last Name Russell, was not around when the officer feared for his life and shot the robber. The uncle based this information by stating my nephew knew he had a bb gun and he knows the police carry real guns. The reporter then stated, your nephew then is not stupid enough to point a bb gun at police. The uncle replied his nephew is not stupid.
Oh and of course mother stated her A & B student was never a trouble maker. MMM MMM, Lets Ponder, Displays a gun to a victim and robs them, then points gun at police same day minutes apart. Any one know if this kid has a rap sheet? Any arrest? Generally this behavior builds up from misdemeanors to felonies. Sorry, but the A & B students I know of don't exibit this type of behavior often or at all for that matter. Well I have to go and catch the Police Dept news brief @ 1300.
I am sure he is a good student an has never been in trouble with the law.
Now let's explore another possibility.

You must first ask the offender with the gun to see his ID. and determine if he is an adult. Next you must inspect his weapon to make sure it is real. You must notifiy your supervisor that this has been verified. You must then request permision to shoot the
offender or terminate the confrontation.
If you follow these simple rules you dont have to worry about being sued, cause you will be dead.
