Just Thinking Aloud
We were sitting here, paging through the comments that are eventually going to get posted and the others that are headed for the great big internet toilet in the sky and we realized a few things:
- Besides the no more "OLE" ass, we aren't going to be seeing any more nonsense about the Area 2 gun team, nothing at all about A/2 dicks, very little, if any, ripping on certain beat cars unless we deem it humorous enough to stand on it's own
- Only SCC-Approved bashing of certain units, brass, government officials, political parties, etc.
- No more "leftisthebest" (just kidding lefty - you were one of the few trying to make sense - notice we say "trying")
- No more named coppers unless we deem it to be newsworthy. Sieser-isms will be posted automatically and without review.
Kind of sad in a way - like a clown dying. At the same time, very liberating.

SCC, I dig it like this. No more OLE, no more "N" bombs, no more area 2 gun team BS. The sick thing is there ARE some coppers who were posting some of that crap. Not all, but the law of averages dictates there were a few. Sad but true. As I've seen from some posts, be advised your presence and time devoted IS appreciated. I finally read a thread where everything was pretty relevant to the original post. It does make me snicker a bit knowing some ahole sent a nonsensical post that you so eloquently rebut and has no ammunition to return fire. LOVELY!
I'm so happy to see that you won't be allowing coppers names on here anymore. Seriously, it was getting ridiculous and was a shame to see some good people that i know name's getting trashed on here b/c one idiot had a beef with him years ago or something.

Hey SCC, What is the cost to run your blog site? If you have registered users you may be able to offset the cost with a minimal fee of $15 for a legitimate site. Its just an idea. I am glad the garbage writting on the wall is gone.

I think we all knew it would come to this one day. I have enjoyed posting on this blog, when I had something to contribute. Those anonymous posters who spewed porn, racism or just plain hatred should get over it. This site was a great idea (thank you), Maybe we can stay on the topics at hand.
To those of you who are complaining: Start your own blog. This is SCC's site, he pays the bills for it and he gets to set the rules. He was getting sick of the BS and so were most of us.
In the academy we were taught that we are a big family, families fight and say and do nasty things to each other, but when the shit hits the fan we all come together.
I still feel that way, even if I can't stand a guy on my watch, if he calls for help, I'll be there.
There is no greater feeling than hearing sirens coming to your 10-1 or the sound of boots running up stairs while you are fighting with a drunk husband and your partner is staving off the rest of the family.
That is what people other than cops don't understand about us. Like a biker told me, if you have to ask--you wouldn't understand.
The area 2 Gun Team does deserve some cheap shots once in a while! They're fair game when they chase old retired coppers with gun collections.
I'm glad to see the new format, some of us want to gain some info on whats happening within the bowels of the dept. and other side of the city (whichever side that may be).
Also, i just recieved my first prescription refill under the new rates. Refill that was $15.00 in April is now $60.00. Generic was $5.00 is now $20.00.

My feelings are hurt SSC. I post a little sarcasim about the "I'm first" posters here, and follow it up with an "I'm first!" and YOU delete it.
I've read this for the last year and have left some insightful and thought provoking comments, along with some humor..I've avoided the immaturity and personal attacks favored by some and unlike others would actually proof-read, and use proper spelling and sentance structure most of the time!
I've never dropped "N-Bombs" or any of that other shit AND this morning you DELETE my post for no other reason than YOU COULD!
I wasted my time this morning.. Censorship sucks!..I probably won't be back!
Maybe I'll start my own blogsite..Naw, to much work. Besides, it's easier to go back to writing on the shithouse wall and at least I won't get censored again UNLESS you are sitting on my lap SCC! While I have no personal objections to any consenting adults who wish to engage in analingus behind closed doors, I really don't care to read about it.

Regarding the PO (11.41.50am)who had his co-pay on prescriptions tripled, I had the same trouble.
If you have "maintenance" drugs, try getting them 3 months at a time through the mail.
I did it for the first time and I figure I'll save about $700-$800 a year between me and the wife. Saves a bundle over Walgreen's. All that is needed is a scrip written for a 3 month period by your doctor.
A little R&R does the soul some good. It's also nice to see that the blog is on its way back to relativity. Thanks SCC! I almost lost faith in you!
