Judging from the hit counter and our inability to log on for the better part of the evening, it seems Blogger was down for maintenance. It seems to be back up, though very slow.
Just thought we'd let everyone know why we haven't published any comments or things until late this evening. Especially in light of the recent stupidity down south.

How convenient it was for the blog to go down today of all days with the arrested cops from 22nd District (maybe somebody did not want any comments of the poor 22nd District angels to get on the blog??Hmmmmmm? Too political for the 22nd District? LOL) Saw the news clips on channel 5 of the one cops alleged girlfriend. What a set of tits on her. She stated, he treated me like a queen! Yea, he bought those queen size tits for you honey and it cost him his job. Unbelievable. I think we'll have more restrictions and more rules put into effect after this corrupt cop caper too. Maybe the 20CR rule will be lowered to one CR and then you are suspended for a day. Who knows. Personally I think whoever takes money on this job ought to be indicted on some kind of Homeland Security Federal Rule where if found guilty you get LIFE IN PRISON. Think it's too harsh? I don't. Maybe someone will think twice about this kind of behavior. I'm too tired to be putting up with more bullshit restrictions on the rest of us law abiding cops. Throw them in the slammer and throw away the key. If you want to be a cop, stand up for all thats good. Don't piss your career on stealing and making life harder for the rest of us. This is certainly been a rough year so far with all these corrupt rogue cops. I don't feel sorry for them at all.

I read some of the complaint on the 22nd dist tact guys. They are frekin fools. They did a phone dump on em and got them saying they should be ok because they inventoried $7000 giving the appearance of doing the right thing. Reading the blog since the summer and am curious of a thing or too of the Area Gun Teams. I know Area 2 Gun Team used to get a lot of comments about how great they were but why Area 2? What about the rest of the Area Gun Teams? Does any one know the stats of exactly how many guns have been recovered from these gun teams since their inception? Is it overall more then the tact teams of all the districts combined? That was a rumour going around. They say that the gun teams have guys that are the best in the nation and once they retire from the gun team they can go into the private sector and be some bigshot security specialist. Again just hear rumours and wanting to no if anyone has any feedback?

Just read the 009th District officer's comment in *another goofy rumor.
He really believes what he is saying about CPD. No doubt in my mind who wrote that. I'd follow him into Hell, because he'd make sure I returned. Nuff said.

Hey, I work in 018 and I can attest for these guys, since they came about, there has not been one man with a gun call at SOUND BAR.
