I'm sure the first comment on this one would be how the Phil's curly haired cutie of a Sgt. passed the Executive Development Program with the highest grades ever. I'm sure cutie pie is being groomed for some nice inside job, or perhaps dare we think, an Exempt Position before the chubby guy retires.
Same old crap guys and girls, the heavy and the attractive will always have a leg up (pardon the pun) on the rest of us.
Phil's Fillies,Dana Darlings and Dukes, Caluris Cuties, and on and on will fill the ranks of supervisors in this Department. And we wonder why we're in the shape we're in.
PS: Memo to all the bosses. Try keeping a straight head when making decisions affecting the rank and file (I mean the head between the ears).

As your 1st D/S I strive to set an example to my menses by dressing the part and being the best boss I can be, except I actually have no duties on this Dept. I keep asking Cline ( I been told to address him as SupaAttendant)why can't I have shit to do? Well, at least i still got my take home car (allthough Motor Maintainence still won't put thos cool "spinners" on it.At least i still got this bitchin' gold star in my wallet, the bitches all love seeing it at the 50 Yard Line..
I'll post a response to my post when I wake up Sunday night.

There will NEVER BE a secondcityDIstrictCommander blogspot. The job is much too involved to devote any time to maintaining a blog. All the D/Cs I know are swamped in work (at least the ones on the South and West Sides, even 025). I think that job is probably the worst in the Dept, right after patrol Sgt.
