Well , here we go again. The fact of the matter is these two nitwits did a no no . Which they will regret. They had NO brains. We all know that the Feds just love to put a case on the CPD. The thing that bugs me is that female reporter from Channel 5 interviewing that BIMBO and putting all that bullshit out about being his girlfriend and his wife being pregnant ect. They have NO right to add that to the story but it's more dirt and they love to exploit it . FUCK all you mews media. The new kids sometimes think their educatio makes them smarter than the old-timers! We as the rank and file always complain how screwed up this job is with all the restrictions being placed on us;TRR's,racial profiling cards,ect.The truth is we bring a great deal of the public's wrath on ourselves. And you wonder why so many people in this city view us with suspicion and/or contempt. I read alot of posts talking about the "animal" or "beast" out there on the streets that we all have to deal with everyday well there are a few on this job right here in our midst. We have a group of PO's on this job who think they can get away with ANYTHING. If what happened to the guys in 007 and SOS wasn't a wake up call to you fools then heaven help you. There are people on this job who think we should fight alot of the lawsuits filed against the department. Truth be told,some of the boneheaded things I,ve seen and heard people on this job do,I would settle out of court too if I was a corp.counsul attorney. If you think you're hamstung doing this job now,just wait. Cameras in squad cars are just the beginning. A office of Professional Standards seperate from the department is right around the corner. Some kind of annual ethics training will probably be conducted for all sworn personnel. The city will come up with some kind of legal disclaimer that will exonerate them when PO's do stupid s$%! Which means joe citizen will be coming after YOUR assets.(If you have any left after securing your own legal consul.) When all this comes to pass,AND IT WILL. Don't post on this blog about how f#@$%! up the Mayor and the City Counsel are. Tell the truth and say how f#@$%! WE are.

In the story related to the arrests from 022 they indicated another FBI sting in which 5 PO's stole a million dollars from a vehicle. Could this be the story that has been bouncing around regarding OCD? That is real money and they could be looking at real big time.

I have been a police officer for more than 23 years, 20 years on the street in Patrol. I am proud of the work I have done and I think my family can be proud of what I have done. I sleep well at night and will continue to do so because I will do nothing to sully my reputation or my families. Perhaps some of these recently indicted P.O.s should have thought about that.
maybe they need to go back to some of the older ideas that once was utilized on the department. when I came on, no one could work on TACT until they had at least 5 years on the job. the idea was that in that amount of time the officers that might get that assignment might have learn enough about his/her job to be responsible enough to handle it. I think you had to have 7 years on the job to even think about being a SGT. again the idea was seasoning these people with enough time on this job to know the job. I think it would be more then prudent to return to this way of thinking. i worked with supervisers who still go to senior P.O.'s to get the answers to so many day to day simple operation problems, so you know when the shit hit the fan, these guys aren't the guys you want watching your back.

These officers have children with special needs. The officers the retired commander's son is in the advance stages of cancer. His father was one of the most stand up and compassionet boses. He was DC in 23 and 21. The other PO has a serious heart condition, the Sgt contracted some virus and and now has problems with his limbs and joints.
Didn't Doroniuk kill some guy around 47 & Cicero who allegely tried to car jack him while he was still on probation?

These three department members have all been through catastrophic medical problems over the last 6 months (or more).. they ALL have special needs children and have been on the medical roll (not IOD). We are trying to help them and their families.
THEY DESERVE TO GET EVERY THING COMING TO THEM. U R NO BETTER THAN THE DOPE DEALERS, CRACK HEADS, THEIVES ETC. U SOLD YOUR SOUL, BUT A DOG IS A DOG NO MATTER WHAT SHAPE OR COLOR .

It wasn't Doroniuk and it wasn't a "tact guy". The off-duty P.O. is a piece of shit who refused to identify himself to a UNIFORMED OFFICER. He then gave the Officer a shove and got what he deserved...a face full of pepper spray. The beef against the off-duty P.O. was sustained and he was suspended. Now he is suing the city! Finally, his 4X4 wife is a uselesss MERIT Sgt. in 022!
