Why would they be crying and bitching? Have we been outdrawing the "official" blog again? Maybe if they'd just unblock the filters so everyone didn't have to wait 24 hours to see what was posted about them, they could keep up with the gossip 24/7 instead of having to rush home every day. Oh wait - the really BIG bosses don't have the filters - or so we were told.

If this is true they obviously have nothing to do with their time than worry about SCC! Hey bosses how about taking your fat asses to the gym? How about taking away all the cars and make the ones that have cars lease them? Hey how about taking care of the manpower in the districts? How about investigating ypurself and all the alderthieves along with your puppet masters!
Ask any boss if they read the blog and they will lie to your face and say "no"...The truth is every one that is in a WHITE SHIRT reads your and just prays they aren't mentioned. Especially WC's in the districts...They get caught by their officers on the blog all the time. Keep up the good work SCC and we'll keep posting the dirt!

Off topic: Anyone know the blonde HQ hottie who was caught showing her "landing strip" at a supervisor's party recently? Hmmm...Isn't she getting promoted? Funny story-If true.
If any change is to take place or problems are to be pointed out how is this occur? Its the little guy (the blue shirts for all of you at HQ)willing to make a stand or some out cry from us blue shirts (again thats the working PO's for you HQ types).
Now that a public forum exists, and SCC is pointing out things that make you scratch your head in wonder, and us little guys have been given a voice. It surely does scare the powers that be.
Im sure that HQ has a few who are able to hit the site and print out the threads so the bosses can take the "pulse" of the minions.
As a side note to those powers that be:
How about finding the murder or murders of our fellow officer who was gunned down at his home? or if you know who it is make the arrest.

OC nonsense....it doesn't work and it doesnt matter...we have been doing this job for 100's of years without DOC's and we did fine...loose the doc...its nonsense and causes unnecessary paper work and loss of manpower..plain and simple...oh and people still,get killed in the doc...they dont care. second get rid of all of the assinine missions..like...doc missions,seatbelt missions...they are the biggest joke!!, trp missions another joke, burglary missions, theft missions, agg bat missions, abandoned auto missions, these missions are all unnecessary and waste manpower....why do we need a "mission" to do what we do all day?? Let the police be the police and go out and combat crime....they have been doing it for 100's of years....we are just making it harder on the officers who "want" to be the police and telling them you cant because you have to do a "mission" instead of locking up the dope dealer on the corner...oh and I almost forgot...the illustrious...POD mission....take a look at the numbers people....people are still getting shot....killed...and the numbers are beginning to rise...why??? because you have much fewer police officers on the street...last I checked Clear system it said 10,600 officers NOT the bs 13,000 they throw at the media...we are doing more with much less and out of that 10,600...how many are on furlough, IOD, Medical,Light duty,Desk job?? you can realistically take that 10,600 and immediately cut it to 9,500 ish....easily...that is closer to what we are operating with people...fact!...the news media needs to address that issue....and the dept needs to pull their heads out of their asses and let the police be the police and do what they are trained / paid to do...otherwise crime will continue to rise....it can only go to a certain low before it must rise...that is a fact any criminologist will not argue....we need help and we need an administration that backs up the working police officer...oh and last but not least....WHY....why....are some districts still doing "humpers"???? please get rid of these again....if you need to see what they are doing pring a p cad of their assignments at the end of the tour....they also check off with their activity at checkoff....get rid of the extra paper again...please...

Finnegan and company created a ripple effect thats fucking not only good guys in SOS but many other working coppers who got too many CRs for doing their jobs. Can any of the exempts walk around the block? 35 & Michigan at one time was a very bad area, it now looks like the city built a rest home and rehab center for a bunch of never been the police blubber asses.

I've seen a number of exempts in the new gym at the academy. Some are pretty regular users. Being in shape doesn't necessarily mean you're a better cop than anyone else, Cline being the most obvious example. Did a good job as Supt., wouldn't want him as a workout partner at the gym though! People who have physical shortcomings on this job usually find a way to maximize whatever strengths they discover that they have.

(9:46AM, 06 June). No matter how many bodies on the street we have, the real work being done on these streets is always done by between 35 and 40 percent of troops. The rest are just a waste of duty availability and gas, and everyone knows it. The Dept. is moving in the right direction, making the troops more accountable for their time, but remember, if it weren't for seat belt missions, city license checks, a lot of people would continue to come in with zeros!! In my District, I've seen the watch examine "lack of activity" using CLEAR, and a lot of people have been leaving paper trying to explain why they are doing nothing. Some have had to actually take out ticket books and use them! One guy used to brag about how he hasn't written a ticket in years....he can't say that anymore! The dogs out there hurt us all, and wear down those who actually care. Don't have any sympathy for them at all, and some of them are now constantly under the sarge's thumb. Hey, you earned it, pooch!
