Obama Threatens Riots?
No grasp of reality (or maybe just a master (race) baiter):
- Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama said Tuesday that the Bush administration has done nothing to defuse a "quiet riot" among blacks that threatens to erupt just as riots in Los Angeles did 15 years ago.
The first-term Illinois senator said that with black people from New Orleans and the Gulf Coast still displaced 20 months after Hurricane Katrina, frustration and resentments are building explosively as they did before the 1992 riots.
"This administration was colorblind in its incompetence," Obama said at a conference of black clergy, "but the poverty and the hopelessness was there long before the hurricane.
20 months and none have been able to, oh, we don't know, find a job? As a laborer? In the cleanup or reconstruction or anything? And who exactly was running New Orleans for the past couple of decades? Oh yeah, democrats. But we all know who's really to blame:
- "Those 'quiet riots' that take place every day are born from the same place as the fires and the destruction and the police decked out in riot gear and the deaths," Obama said.
Damn those police!

It sounded like he was inciting a riot. Not just a small scale one, but a riot on a national scale.
I was wondering how long it would be till he threw out the race card.
Are Black people really that stupid to vote for Obama just because they share the same skin color?
Are women really that stupid they will vote for Hillary just because they share the same body parts?

It has been the dream of a Daley mayor, and in all reality any Chicago mayor, to have "one of their guys" in the White House.
Read any bio or history book about the Daley's. JFK was Old Man Daley's guy, but he got wacked. LBJ and Daley got along quite well, but LBJ would be a Republican if he was around today. Nixon set up Big Jim Thompson at the IL A.G. then Gov. He brought a world of pain down on the Old Man. Remember, Nixon was the loser to JFK when the Machine came out extra. Nixon never forgot that. Most modern day Repubs are former Nixonites. Both Bush I and Bush II campaigned for Nixon. Carter kissed his ass and in the last minute Daley begrudingly gave his support.
Richard M. Daley is hedging his bets. He knows it's time for a Dem to be in the W.H. The Repub's f-ed it all up and the populace is ready to give out some backlash.
Bill and Hillary are still his fav's but she slighted him running off to to N.Y. (she's orig'ly from a $$$ family in Park Ridge) Obama is his lapdog and can easily take IL's primary, with the Machine's support.
However, Obama's long term electibility is very narrow. The Media will have to push real hard to get fence riders to go for a race baiting, freshman Sen. Expect to have SCC's Obama quotes like this one vanish from the public record.
