- Gregory Reedfields, 23, of the 3100 block of West Roosevelt Road
Both addresses are within two blocks of the shooting at 1100 S. Mozart. And the gang affiliation of both? We're willing to bet it'll be vice lords, just like the dead OFFENDER.

Anyone want to guess what North Lawndale has been producing for 40 years and more? But it's all the "po-lices" fault.

Hell, read the "24 Hours" feature in the Sun Times everyday.
See how many times the Lawndale area has a crime - in fact, they had a shooting there yesterday or Friday.
Now ask yourself, Self - How can this happen?
According to all of these fine men of the cloth, the people in this area do not have guns - only the police do. If this is true, how can these little pesky shootings and murders happen, that ARE NOT at the hands of the police?
Hmmmm....something in amiss here. How is the Sun Times finding this information out - when none of these hard working, tax paying, church going, non multiple child having, honorable young black men have guns?
Self - It just does not add up... Who is not telling the truth here? The CPD?? Or the fine citizens of Lawndale?

No one, and I mean NO ONE will accept blame for shit that they do. From taking a curfew home to his Mom who rags you for messing with her baby ignoring completely that fact that she should know where he is to a Mom who calls the police on her drug addled son upon whom she has had an order of protection and when the police get there he goes off, gets tazed, dies following the struggle and Mom says "they killed him in cold blood" forgetting completely the fact that SHE CALLED because she was scared shitless of him, to the family and neighbors and "public figures" who front for a guy who points a gun at the police and gets himself shot because of it, none of these people will accept their responsibility in these matters. It is all someone elses fault. Lindsey Lohan gets caught with coke in her jeans, and plays the "they are not my pants" card or some such nonsense. Sounds a lot like the "it's my cousin's jacket" defense.
Did any leader in the African American community, including our bosses, react negatively to the violent behavior displayed in the 11th District over the last week? NO! By not saying anything, they give tacit approval to the behavior. Which in turn emboldens the rioters, and they in turn make life miserable for the law abiding residents of the neighborhood. And there ARE law abiding people there, we just don't deal with them because they are afraid to come out of the house because of the actions of the evil doers. If the anger and outrage which is directed at the police and other authority figures was to be redirected by the "community leaders" in a way that was to benefit their neighbors and neighborhoods maybe there could be positive results. Jesse, Al, father Phleger should be asking why there is so much black on black crime. Why so many black youths are shot and killed by other black youths. All is needed is for them to look at statistics. They need to look inside of the community instead of constantly looking outside of the community for a place to lay the blame. To say or to take a position the there is no crime within the white community would be disingenious at best and a lie at worst. But the fact cannot be ignored, some black and now some hispanic communities are imploding. They are being crushed under the weight of a crime wave and civil disobedience which is unprecedented (well maybe 1968) in our history as a city. The police can only do so much, and what we can do is getting to be less and less all the time. Until the members of these unfortunate communities stand up and say "no more" there is no hope. No hope. Are there two more depressing words than those?

None, get ordained online and have one service a week w/ a min. of 5 chairs(filled or empty). Now you can have you own church and be tax exempt!!!

Simple-- first get ordained, atthis site. Its legit-- as scary as it seems-- http://www.themonastery.org/?destination=ordination
Next- get a cheap storefront, somewhere on 'Norf' avenue will work. Then have one to two services a week, not sure which. NO ONE EVEN HAS TO BE THERE- YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE SEATING. Then reap the tax exempt status!
