Suffice it to say though, if we came up with some half assed story about someone losing the paperwork for our application for security clearances not once, but twice, we'd certainly wouldn't try it with the bean counters at the FBI. These people NEVER throw out a piece of paper. Ever.
This excuse that the FBI lost the paperwork from the Interim Superintendent of Police will go down in history with the following:

Did Dana do something horrible to this woman? I usually laugh when he's getting made fun of, but I'm actually starting to feel bad for the guy! OUCH!
Hope he knows it takes about 5 or 6 months to get even if they "rush" it, which I'm SURE they're getting right on...ha ha

If Karen Rowan desires to be Superintendent then the Feds should do a "source of funds" investigation to determine were her, her husband's and their nephew's, John Hamilton, and the rest of the "Major Mexican Narcotics Squad" monies originated.

I don't know what FBI clearnace is given in this situation but know from experience that there is a tracking number on a Top Secret clearance for the military. So if he did submit the paperwork and it is similar to a Top Secret which I would assume it is, where is his tracking number??? There is no way you provide a mountain of personnal information and documents without getting proof. This is our leader?
Columnist Michael Sneed has shown that she is no professional journalist. She is downright dispicable! I hope the other brass at Headquarters aren't feeding her all of this venom, but somehow, I am sure it is coming from another exempt, which would make this whole episode even more shameful.

Since WHEN does the FBI publicly comment as to WHO has a security clearance, and who DOESN'T? And when is it any of the public's business? Because it sure as hell never EVER became a topic of discussion before now! And this is coming from the SAME FBI who left Joe Airhart to die in a South Loop apt. OH so right! Hillard left Airhard bleeding for over two hours, as such brain damage due to lost of blood. Hillard is a coward, who is making big bucks from this company for doing nothing cause he is also a dummy.
Dana has escaped responsibility his entire career.
I'm sure his not accepting responsibility for his "love child" (at least Jesse eventually did that) and his extremely lame excuses for not submitting his federal paperwork are just tips of the iceberg.
I'm no fan of the FBI, but do you really think they lost two sets of his paperwork or did Dana just not give a damn about submitting them. What is more likely?

Ok, Suckass, if Dana S. did lie on a official Government App/Form, then he's violated Chicago Police Department policy/ethics etc... so, isn't that grounds for termination? I know some little patrolman who wouldve embarrased the police department like he has would've been out on his ass selling news papers, flowers, or at you local expressway ramp with a squeegy cleaning windows for a few coins!
I guess that's how Dana runs it - "Do as I say, not as I do". Like most of the supervisors on this job.
What about the "your only doing this because i am black excuse"...?
I think the Feds lost Dana's stuff, on purpose, because he is a black man - nothing more to it thatn that!

GUESS HIS GED EXPERIENCE WAS NOT ENOUGH! DID HE MAIL THE PAPERWORK TO THE RIGHT LOCATION? MAYOR RICHIE DALEY 121 N.LASALLE ROOM #500 CHICAGO WITH AN ENVELOPE STUFFED WITH CASH? IF NOT HE WILL NOT GET IT!
Dana aint perfect but he is a far cry from Cline's Reign of Terror so far.
