Chicago police reported that some individual attempted to "egg" Lovie Smith's house last night.
- An empty egg carton was recovered at the scene. Two eggs hit Mr. Smith's house, 3 eggs went over his house and hit his neighbor's back door, 2 eggs hit the houses of each of his next-door neighbors, and the remaining 3 eggs were found broken on the ground near the carton from where the individual threw them. Looking at what was hit; police officials say they are considering Rex Grossman as the primary suspect.
The latest line has Bears as three-and-half point underdogs. SCC is offering seven. We predict ugly - very ugly. Hope we're wrong.

5 dead in Chicago shootings
About 4:15 a.m., Ronald Heard, 23, of the 8000 block of South Richmond Street was shot in the parking lot of a White Castle in the 6900 block of South Western Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
