Unsettling Preview?
- Six high school athletes were hospitalized this afternoon with non-life threatening injuries after competing in a cross-country meet in Sugar Grove.
About 25 other students were treated at the scene, said Sugar Grove Fire Protection District Chief Marty Kunkel. The final race at the meet was canceled after the runners reported feeling dizzy and sick because of the unseasonably hot weather.
And today is the Chicago Marathon, right?

I do feel bad for the family of the police officer who died on the course, but overall, COME ON ALREADY!!! It wasn't like it was 120 out there! It was unseasonably warm and humid, which was in the forecast for WEEKS...it shouldn't have been such a clusterf*ck!!!
PS: We are so SCREWED in the event of a 9/11 type event here... Where was that puppet Anthony Ruiz of OEMC?!?!? Complete breakdown of communications, lack of coordination, lack of preparation. Just a joke all the way around.
