Harassed? I love how the residents in a CHA housing project, filled with 24/7 drug sales, shots, fired and all out gun battles have the nerve to claim "harrasment." They don't want us there, yet they call 911 for EVERYTHING. Here's a solution: police your own family, know where your kids are and take rersponsiblity for the conditions in your neighborhood.....after all, who selling the drugs? When Jane Byrne moved into Cabrini, (I was there), she took the handcuffs off the police, moved in a no-nonsense Commander Joe McCarthy in, and allowed us to work all of our days off Special Employment(at straight time). We made a lot of arrests, picked up a lot of guns and the people loved us.
Just as important, Jane lit a fire under all of the other services.
The garbage got picked up, the graffiti got painted over, the elevators got repaired and the convicted felons got evicted.

Seems that Jesse’s internal clock has been reset since Sharpton has come to town. It used to be that Jesse and the make believe Priest Pfleger had to find someway to get their face in front of a camera every five to six weeks. Now with Sharpton coming to town they have shortened up the rotation to two to three weeks. Don't blame anyone but the officers who do wrong (IF THEY DID WRONG). I am not saying because I didn't see the video...BUT I have said it before...Officers - have you OWN brain. Was there sound on this video? Anyway, don't let anyone tell you what to do. Do GOOD HONEST police work, be careful, and be safe. We don't have to attend these DOC meetings, so let them answer the complaints. I could care less what the bosses think of me as long as I know I am doing my job and being honest in the way I do it.
