Interesting article in the Sun Times. Seems they might actually have an investigative reporter running around. Maybe two or three:
As a young lawyer, Allison S. Davis was a City Hall outsider.
He criticized Mayor Richard J. Daley over the 1968 riots. He worked to integrate Chicago neighborhoods. And he fought to elect judges based on legal ability, not political connections.
Today, Davis is a consummate City Hall insider.
And how did he get there? Shady land deals, some of them free. Questionable loans. Business partners going to jail. Some guy named "Rezko" and a bunch of overlapping Federal investigations.
In other words, business as usual in the crooked town of Chicago. Corruption is so ingrained here, that it's a wonder anyone can get any honest business done anymore.

The duplicity of Allison S. Davis is reprehensible. He is the consummate sell-out. Has he neither scruples nor shame? How can he live with himself?

Allison Davis came from mixed race parents, one white; one black.
That CPD Pension money they wanted to invest in Chicago Real Estate? It was to go to Davis' Son-in-law Vanecko and Davis and his multitude of companies.
The public housing developments Davis' son manages are still shitbird cages as cops already know. They keep pouring our tax money into these cages and the drug dealers/gang banger shitbirds fuck it up again so Daley and his hustlers can fuck us again skimming as they spend more of our money.
This City needs an Iraq-like surge but the fucking liberals will never let it happen.
When I first heard of the CPD Pension/Real Estate thing on SCC I Googled "Vanecko" and was linked to various articles linking Davis, Rezko, Obama and others. Somebody at the Sun-Times must have done something similar as there was a big article on these scumbags in yesterdays paper.

Everyday the papers hammer "teflon daley" and his street "thugs" but nothing happens! They got John Gotti but our own al Capone daley still keeps doing illegal shit oh well like father like son!
No wonder Daley is asking for higher taxes at each budget session. The little fart is giving the city away to his friends and family, close or extended, for free, and we the taxpayer have to foot the gift/bill. More and more Daley sounds like Sgt. Schultz, "I know nothing."
It would appear that all politicians have a price. The soul is eternal but cash heals all mortal wounds. Eventually greed supersedes all human dignity and strength and allows for weak minded, weak spirited, ethically challenged people to justify the take.
I hope it's worth it in the end.
Intresting, all police officers are mandated to take an ethics test year, but what test does the mayor take? Our money!
For lack of proof-reading, correction, I meant to say Vanecko is the Mayors nephew, not Davis' son-in-law.
It's a full-time job keeping the nepotism in this city straight.
