I'm hearing thatthe man wanted for killing the student/porn actress in Eldorado Kansas is an Illegal from that "equal moral trading partner" Mexico. Its just great I wounder how many illegals have killed Americans over past year?
the post from several days ago about nick nolte's picture prompts me to write about one of the most surreal visuals i have had on this job. about 15 yrs. ago i was working c.h.a. special employment with a partner who was also female and from a north side district. we were assigned a building check at 2245 w. lake and walked in through the front. at the same time 3 uniformed officers who i learned later to be ronny steiben, charley toussas and bobby skahill came running through the back and up the stairs and were not seen again. as my partner and i returned to our car we just looked at each other and said "who were those guys do you think they are really the police". i have not seen any of them in a long while but this job seemed a lot more fun with characters like them and the rest of their group around. the hair gel and black glove guys are not cutting it.
Win or lose, there's Hester, who's really The Flash, incognito.

OFF THE TOPIC......... i want to say outstanding job to 016 and 017th district last night catching an armed robbery in progress at the mcdonalds locatated at cicero and cullom. 1634 3rd watch gets wavied down the show goes on from there (foot chase exc). 5 m/4's offenders. 4 in custody!!! i believe they recovered a few toy guns, hoddies and masks nearby. great job by all. your work in 016 again as always is accepted. good job by both districts!!
If they win it will only put off the inevitable. If by some miracle the Bears should win all there remaining games and get a wild card birth, there is no way they are going all the way. I don' t mean to be negative about it, it's just that there are so many better teams out there.
It's another season of diminishing draft positioning with every game they win, just like losing seasons of years past.
I'm starting to think the whole management and coaching staff needs to be scrubbed. Is it just me or does any one else find it strange that Hester's talent wasn't realized by the staff until he replaced Davis' dropped return earlier in the season?
It seemed like deja vue (sp) all over again with Petersons comming in after Benson's injury. Peterson was the closest thing to the great Walter Payton god rest his soul since Walter. I'm not saying Peterson is near the rusher Walter Payton was but Peterson seems to really acelerate once in posession of the ball as did Walter and there was Petersons no quit scrum ala Payton in that last game. For the most part, I'm sorry he got injured but Benson has been phoning in his performance.

WORD SPREAD TO THE 2ND WATCH AND 3RD WATCH AND THE NEXT NIGHT I LOOKED IN THE FRONT DESK DRAWER AND WE HAD MAYBE 3 PARKING TICKETS AND NO TOWS!!! USUALLY THE DRAWER IS STUFFED BUT NOT ANY MORE. OUR SGT. PULLED US ASIDE AND SAID THAT THE BOSSES ARE SEEING A DECREASE IN PRODUCTIVITY AND ARE ASKING WHAT HAPPENED AND WE TOLD HIM WE ARE PATROLLING OUR BEAT AND LOOKING FOR CRIME, SGT. LAUGHED AND SAID GOOD JOB I HOPE IT WORKS.. LAST I HEARD FROM A FRIEND IN ANOTHER DISTRICT IS THAT ITS SPREADING....ONLY GO WHEN THEY CALL YOU!!!!

Los Angeles California police dept recently reported that they have over 1000 homicide warrants for illegals who have fled back to Mexico after committing the homicide. Now that is just one city in this Country. So I can only imagine the number of illegals who have killed in this country is unimaginable.
No matter if the Bears win or lose, I love watching those strong muscular men play football. I doubt the NFL really knows the number of us females who watch football for the love of the players. My husband can hardly take the garbage out without his body hurting so I wonder what these football players are really made of.

You know, everyone is worried about the pension... simple solution that will calm most of your nerves...
Once the baby boomers die off we will be fine.
You see, these idiots are clogging the system right now. There are sooo many of them NOW. BUT in the next 10 years a majority of CPD baby boomers will be dead and the pension will be fine.
Most baby boomers are in their early 60s... that would be worriesome if not for the lifestyle of the average CPD.. 60 is the new 100 with us.
Good thing I run marathons!
But the stark reality is the donuts, cigarettes, pork chops, meat loaf, excessive drinking, stress of multiple divorces and the overall attitude of the baby boomer ensures early death. (sorry, those free meals at Flows diner for 32 years havent been kind on your heart) Even advances in modern medicine will be baffled at the concrete wall formerly referred to as your arteries!
So in the next 5-10 buy stock in Edison Park and Mt Greenwood funeral homes! And make sure you get to those FOP resales.
But dont worry about the pension. If youre under 50 you understand the importance of exercise, eating habits and overall health. This will give you a long and enjoyable retirement. The next crisis will be when there are thousands of us retired CPD living into our late 80s even 90s... now THAT is a problem, but what will I care? And you, baby boomer, wont have that issue! If we realize this, we will realize oour pension is safe.
ps did that Captain Chromiak (or whatever his name is) talk about this? he should have.
