"Honor Killings" in Texas
What has become an ugly trend across Europe, especially in Germany, has begun rearing it's head on North American shores, first in Canada, and now in the US:
- As friends and family gathered Saturday to remember Amina and Sarah Said, the family is pleading for the girls' father - the suspected killer - to turn himself into police.
- Police won't talk about a motive, but virtually everyone at the service believes there was friction between the father, who is Egyptian, and his daughters (17 and 18) who seemingly embraced American customs and fashions - a position embraced by their mother's last words to reporters:
- "I just want him to pay for what he did to my girls. They did not deserve this. No matter what, nobody deserves to be murdered."
Two young girls lives snuffed out because of a back-ass-ward zealot of a third world "religion" doesn't have enough confidence in his own ability to raise his daughters to know right from wrong and live their lives in a moral manner.

I am really starting to hate hearing the words "tolerant", "assimilation" and "culture" from liberals who want to make excuses for those that they fear.
The problem with multiculturalism is that too many people misinterpret it. These people value diversity for face value, and never question aspects of anyone’s culture that is detrimental, fearing they might offend them. Immigrants refuse to assimilate and accuse conservatives of racism because we do not embrace their culture, but never acknowledge that they are in our country.
Political correctness has prevailed over common sense. However, this is never brought to debate, and trying to create common values and beliefs is what we should be trying to accomplish instead of creating rifts between the races. That is what this misinterpreted liberal-fed multiculturalism holds back. I fear that, in the name of tolerance and political correctness, we have become intolerant to the idea that we have the right to question what is bad for the country.
Another complaint about assimilation is that Americans are accused of wanting immigrants to give up all aspects of their culture. They don't realize, or do not admit that we really don't care about the music, the language, religion or practices that should be kept private. But keeping them in private is what they refuse to do. What we do in private and what we do in public should be very different. Our public image is that of an American. Our private image is how we choose to honor our culture. Multiculturalism has given them the means to to recreate the same failed culture and political systems that they originally wanted to escape from, while we loose aspects of American culture by the droves. The "new" culture is that everyone can do whatever they want because it is their constitutionally protected right, regardless if those practices impede my rights.

Police in Villa Park are investigating a double homicide after a five-hour standoff.
SWAT teams surrounded a home along Ridge Street early Monday morning. Around 11 a.m., police stormed the home and found the bodies of a man and woman.
Police have named Artur Shehu as a suspect in the homicides. Officials are currently searching for the 33-year-old, who is described as 5'9", 195 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Officials closed a nearby school because of the police activity, but now that the situation is under control the school will reopen and the students will be allowed to return.
