The Peterson "missing person" case has officially become a circus:
- The Amazing Kreskin, the celebrity mentalist, announced Wednesday that he will offer his help in the search for Stacy Peterson, the missing 23-year-old mother from Bolingbrook.
"I'm interested in becoming involved with this case, in more ways than one," Kreskin said. "Let's hope we can make a breakthrough on this. This case is crying out for a breakthrough, and I don't have to be a thought reader to say that."
An Illinois State Police spokesman, Trooper Mark Dorencz, said Kreskin's agent had contacted law enforcement, but "at this time, we won't be granting any meeting with the Amazing Kreskin."
Well, if Bolingbrook and Illinois State Police think they can solve this case without the help of Kreskin, well, we're prepared to bet they'll be at it for a while yet - that Drew dude is too cool under pressure. Kreskin could only help matters.

Think about it: Is the State Police's use of Kreskin any more ridiculous than sticking a microphone and camera in the face of a "community activist" who calls himself Robin Hood? Rev. "Slim" Coleman? In fact, he's even more credible than they are since he's had his own TV show in California since the early '70's.
These other losers are upstarts who people actually think are legitimate thanks to the local media allowing them coverage on the evening news.
If Stacy is alive, Peterson will be worth 7 or 8 figures. In addition to the damages from lawsuits of local and state agencies destroying his life, the media circus means he'll never be able to go ANYWHERE in the U.S. without someone recognizing him. (The Fed couldn't place this guy into Witness Protection from all the exposure.) Then there's the lecture circuit. Hell, I'd even pay to hear his speech on "They ruined my life just because I was A COP."

Bolingbrook has to be the most corrupt Police Department on the planet. How do you cover up a death in an empty bath tub, where the victim sustained blunt trauma. The corruption has to be at the top, all the way down. Who were the Detectives on this one? Who was the coroner on this case? How much did Drew pay them to help cover the homicide. Mind boggling. I think Drew figured he could get away with it twice, as long as it was in Bolingbrook. The media never focuses on the Bolingbrook Police on this at all.
