Connect the Dots
We're behind the times a bit here, but John Kass does it again this past Friday. He connects Ed Burke and the 14th Ward along with 36th Ward boss Sam Banks to the SOS scandal and a number of questionable zoning exemptions on the north side.
There's so much wrong with every facet of this incident, from the alleged SOS home invasions, to a number of unregistered handguns, to $112,000 in cash that was inventoried to a whole mess of late night phone calls trying to head off the discovery of guns and cash.
Kass simply calls it the Chicago Way, and we're afraid we agree that this city is just too corrupt in all things.

What those oficers did in SOS is evil, bad, whatever, but is doesn't compare to the shit the aldercreatures and their hacks have done to the tax paying citizens and public employees of the City. Was getting rid of Acosta's gun case the impetus for charging Finnegan and the rest?
At least they can rest assured that Mrs. Ed Burke and her gang, the Illinois Supreme Court, will act as the final safety on this scam, shielding light from this case by blocking any procedural review of the trial.
Disgusting!!! Why aren't the Feds and the Crook County States Attorney's office investigating guys like this and corrupt politicians like Ed Burke and the rest of the Chicago politicians who are robbing this State, City and County blind??

Imagine having only 20 alder-creatures. Which would be a normal city council for a city the size of ours.. Thirty less ward superintendents, thirty less ward offices to run, thirty less admin assistants, etc. Imagine the savings.
The obvious rampant corruption in Crook County goes on and on, barely dented by the Feds, and the Crook County States Attorney's Office. But some day they'll get these Alder-lizards and Crook County Politicians, but they'll all be in their 80's or 90's, or pushin up dasies by then, just like the Mob Guys, as they are basically one and the same.

Saw a rerun of a show about Harold Washington and the media on of the local access chanels. John Kass was one of the panelists.

Rudy and Rudy Acosta (dad) is behind the scenes on all of this. Rudy Acosta is one of Burke's top precinct captains in the 14th Ward, 13th Precinct in the Archer Heights Community. Alderman Burke and his wife live in the 13th Pct which Acosta serves as the Pct Captain.
Acosta daughter works or runs a real estate business Gutierrez Realty at 44th and Pulaski in the 14th Ward.
Acosta is the cousin of former Police Commander Acosta from O'Hare and is best buddies with Former Alderman Ambrosio Medrano.
You have some old school folks here on this one.
Word is that Rudy's Acosta strong arm residents in the 14th Ward, Pct 13 for votes and city services. If you don't vote for Burke's candidate (Sandoval) for example when he ran for re-election for State Senate don't call me for city services. That's the Chicago Way in the 13th Pct of the 14th Ward.
I have to call B.S. on this one. If the city was so corrupt the State or Federal Goverment would step in.

Look at the video postings on The Tribunes website by Kass. The guy Acosta is an upstanding citizen obviously.
A couple guns cases just magically disappeared after the SOS indictments, & one of them wasn't even an SOS case.
How could any clout be involved?

Why did daley and his criminal crew shut down Johns families food store Westlawn Foods on 58th and Pulaski years ago on a bogus alcohol to minors charge? Even Helen Keller and Stevie Wonder know Burke is the biggest crook this side of the Mississippi. Only two things that could be keeping him out of the joint. Either he's a snitch and developing all kinds of cases or the FBI in Chicago IS as crooked as we all think.
