Way to keep up with the news, media people! Since you're stealing stories from us on a regular basis, how about you do a little investigation and steal the fact that we're down manpower and that, more than anything, is affecting public safety? And maybe get a few of your camera people to film Billiken - the real Billiken Parade and not the sanitized version Daley makes you show?

Hey stupid, you totally missed the point. This website by SCC is probabaly the last thing on their mind due to work, family, side jobs, etc. It's the media's FULL TIME JOB to report the news. People have been talking about the Taste videos on this blog for days before it was posted on this site. Maybe they could have went to YouTube themselves and done a little investigating instead of stealing it from here and not mentioning where they found it.

Holy shit SCC’s site meter reports well over three million visits and still growing stronger everyday. SCC’s averages well over 10,000 visitors per day nationally and internationally. SCC’s averages over 100 comments per article.
I personally know that Da Mayor gets a Monday morning printout of SCC to read on his desk by 0800 hours. J-Fed’s high school friends have told me they bookmark SCC after they first read about the blog when it was reported in the Chicago Scum-Times. Next to Aldermanic spying at CAPS meetings, the Alderman’s office staff prints out copies of SCC for their career politicians too. CAPS facilitators, citizens, business and civic leaders all enjoy reading and learning how the Chicago Police Department really works.
Even Hollywood is working on a screen play based on your blog. The project is in the early stages and the movie is planned to be filmed here in Chicago next Spring.
