Tim Kaufmann, CCSPD passed away after a long and couragous battle with brain cancer. Timmy was a helluva policeman and has many friends on our job as well as the CPD. He is also a member of K. of C. which many brother CPD officers are also a member of. He leave behind a wonderful wife and FIVE children, one not even a teenager yet. A terrible tragedy.

A few kegs is what got Mike in this mess to begin with......The drinking culture of this department MUST CHANGE if we are to get any better in the public's eye.
How many more DUI coppers and coppers in bar fights will it take before it gets into brains all over this department. Daley lives for that, he is able to hold us down for that and even got J-Fed because of that.
I see the same young officers all hung over at roll call on a consistent basis. These are the same officers who can't wait to get off work and go across the street fast enough.
Ever go to an FOP meeting? You see guys chomping at the bit for the meeting to end so they can go get the free beer. I personally think that practice should stop, it will only be a matter of time before someone gets in a DUI accident coming home from a meeting or the media will find out.
Nothing is the matter with a drink once in a while, but when the drink becomes necessary, you need to look hard at yourself.
Writing Iowa plates? Petty and sophomoric. The people in Iowa have rat hack polititians, just like we do. Blame the right people not the honest citizens. Nitwit!
