Spooky Coincidence
A couple of days ago, we posted a tongue-in-cheek piece "Bad News - Good News" relating the story of a woman who died during a Blackhawks game, but on the brighter side, the Blackhawks won. Typical gallows humor appreciated by our regular readers who have way too much experience with such things.
The story took an odd turn though:
The story took an odd turn though:
- While watching her favorite team, the Blackhawks, play at the United Center on Monday, Marguerite Kuhlman collapsed and later died.
Patricia and Dorothea Kuhlman said that even more peculiar than the death of their sister, 68, at the hockey game is the fact that their mother died under similar circumstances nearly 22 years ago. Mildred Kuhlman died March 30, 1986, while attending a Blackhawks game at Chicago Stadium, Patricia Kuhlman said.
While we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Kuhlman family, we would like to point out that these ladies passed on to the heavenly Skybox doing something they obviously enjoyed and have been enjoying for decades. Hockey fans, especially Blackhawks fans, understand that.

Patricia and Dorothea, keep going to the games. Go for the HAT TRICK!!! Yes you can!!!
If I were that family, I'd be watching on tv.
Much better SCC.
Yeah, God bless the Kuhlman family but that is kind of spooky.
I once passed out at a strip joint. And the same thing happened to my father a few years before that. The sad part was my mother passed out there too while stripping! LOL
it was the 8 bucks a pop for a beer that really killed her. also taking out a second mortgage on her home to pay for season tickets was debilitating. lower level seats are 110.00 each. are they kidding. the goalie makes 7 million a year. how about the goalie making 1 million a year. he would still be happy and i could still afford to go to the games.
CREEPY!!!!!
It was SUDDEN DEATH
DA Bears
Two minute penalty - delay of game.
Maybe that family should try the Wolves.
