Bad News - Good News
A woman is dead Monday night after she collapsed while at a Chicago Blackhawks game at the United Center.
The woman, in her 50s, collapsed at the game at the United Center, 1901 W. Madison St., according to a spokesman for the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
But in every gray cloud, a silver lining:
Patrick Sharp and Andrew Ladd each had two goals and an assist, leading the Chicago Blackhawks over the Colorado Avalanche 6-2 on Monday night for their third straight victory.
Troy Brouwer and Cam Barker also scored for the Blackhawks, unbeaten in regulation at home (5-0-2). Chicago goalie Nikolai Khabibulin made 24 saves.
And before anyone gets up in arms about our gallows humor, it keeps us sane.

Word from the m.e.'s office was that her mother died a while back also inside the united center. I don't know how they have that information but the m.e. thought it was amusing.
HERE COME THE HAWKS!! finally something to be proud of. Since there is no pride in the CPD anymore.
The kids are showing a lot of energy and are crashing the net. With the veteran net minders, who knows how far this team can go. They need to do it in the first two seasons of Q's stewardship because they will get tired of the ranting.
