Canadian songstress Celine Dion is canceling her 04 November concert at United Center due to a "nasal infection" she's been battling for the past week.

Last night on Zone 4 at approximately 2127 hours an Officer got on the zone with a Asian accent stating "send an ambulance to Mr. Daley's house someone is having a heart attack". The dispatcher then asked for the location, and the Officer stated "Indiana". Then another individual came up on the air and said "don't put his address on the zone". Does anyone have the heads up on what had happened? As much as I wholeheartedly dislike our mayor I hope his health and his families health is alright.

I hear the commander of tru was one of the onlyt bosses NOT given an assignment for the 2008 election night. Even ADS Sodini picked three commander to assist. @ from BSD and one from the building. The writing is on the wall T-W. And take that chumm with you!!!!!!!!

How about this ,, Celine Dion does not want to be anywhere near the Downtown Chicago or West Side when the OBAMA victory celebration begins. She is afraid for herself and her fans. Pretty simple. Has she cancelled any other concerts the days before or after the 4th?
Second issue, hate to beat the dead horse again but I have been in the Division Street riots started by Sgt. Walton ( Deputy Chief Walton Rtd. ) All 4 bulls riots on the West and South Sides, and all the demonstrations downtown including the Anti War arrest 500 people event.
In My opinion of all the bosses today most of them were no more then Sgts. if they were lucky. They have very little experience with these situations. Here is my advice I have been in them in all ranks from a PO to a commander. I have been shot at peppered with my own gas from my gas teams, and had bricks bounce off my helmet.
Sgts. Keep your team together. If the shit gets in the fan you cannot arrest your way out of it. UNless you grab a jag off with a gun or someone who strikes one of your guys FUCK IT. Let the Korean or Arab store owner make an insurance claim. DONT GET YOURSELF OR YOUR GUYS HURT. Dont chase anyone into an alley or ganyway, could be an ambush with bricks rocks or gunfire.
Bring as many flex cuffs as you can. do not use your own cuffs you might not see them again in mass arrest situations. If you are in cars bring coolers with water, snacks etc. Extra radio and flashlight batteries, a small first aid kit and alcohol wipes are a good idea. always keep your helmet on in a dangerous area, with the strap fastened, using the face shield is a must.
Whatever you do be aware of cameras, cameras and more cameras, times have changed everyone is watching J- fed will throw you to the wolves.
Sgts. The young officers will be looking to you for guidance and give it to them. Your radios will be busy with emergencies so you and your squad are on your own.
Officers be safe, you have to let the animal party himself out. They get the mob mentality and depend upon the numbers in the crowd to mask their actions. Once it starts you will not be able to stop it. I dont think the planning started soon enough I dont think there are enough gas teams. I remember two bulls years in a row E Fred Bosse's gas teams ran out of gas on the west side, thats how bad it can get. Dont charge any crowds and dont start anything your squad cant finish. Know your surroundings any always have situational awareness so you can seek and find cover if needed.

OT: To all my brothers and sisters in blue. Tomorrow will be a long day for all of us. Hopefully it will be a quiet night for all of us. Aside from all the BS about uniforms, overtime and the city screwing us over, just keep one thing in mind. Be safe and watch each others backs. No matter what, we are all blue and no one else is going to help you if all hell breaks loose. Stay together in a group and don't get separated from the rest of your backup. If it goes to hell, get out of the middle of the crap and don't get surrounded. Just sit tight and help will come and we can clean up then. Strength in numbers and unity is how to keep from being hurt. The number one thing to remember after this is all done, is every copper working tomorrow stay safe and go home uninjured to your families the same way you started the day. Nothing is worth you or another cop getting seriously injured or killed for this free for all. Stay safe so we can all laugh about the silly shit Wednesday. They may try to destroy us and divide us, but one thing I know from seeing cops working all over the city, is we are the best and when all hell breaks loose CPD has the best cops in the country hands down. I think you misunderstood due to the Asian accent. It was a Hard On Attack. It lasted more than 4 hours and the TV AD said that if this medicine causes it to last more than 4 hours, seek immediate medical attention.

Uh? Very hard to believe this story since the Mayor has over 26 Bodyguards, some of which babysit virtually all of his family, and properites. Maybe it was some citizen on his block or walkway that approached the mayor's street/perimeter detail outside his home, and it may have been a joe citizen having an attack out on the sidewalk.

It was CPD. FBI informant interviewed by Pam Z.. Rat was talking about how he would pay coppers money to steer business his way (towing business). Also talked about staged vehicle accidents and how the police would write up an accident report then file a claim, then get paid. This clown alleges that his dealings with CPD were recorded.
