Even Better News

In light of "the List" debacle, we're trying to cheer people up. Here's a good story:
  • When the report of the fire came over the police radio around 4 a.m. Friday, Officer Timothy Gould and his partner realized: “We’re right here!”

They had been out on a domestic disturbance call, but quickly turned their attention to the blaze in the three-story apartment building at 7847 S. East End Ave.

Soon, the 54-year-old Gould was breaking out a window, climbing atop a chair to reach a 10-foot-high window and searching for the man inside who was screaming “Help me!”

Would that every day had at least a few stories like this. Nice job Tim.

As far as the list is concerned, there are 2000 names on it which means there are roughly 7,000 PO's who haven't done a thing in the last 5 years! THAT should be more of a concern to these nitwit attorneys looking to line their pockets at our expense.

And this story about the fire is a perfect example: I have no idea if this fine officer is on the list, but even if he had 100 CR's, HE SAVED A MAN'S LIFE by risking his own!!! How many more lives are saved by the alleged "bad guys" with 5 CR's every damn day?

Had the City fought these handouts from the begining instead of trying to save money by not going to court, maybe we wouldn't be here today. The Corp Counsel has created the Ghetto Lottery. Thanks.

Hey boss j-fed how about a reward? Not a stupid ribbon maybe a week off extra with full pay would be nice! Set a new example j-fed and give the officers something for all their hard work! Be a regular guy jody!

Beyond corruption running rampant in city hall, moral that is scraping bottom, bosses that are just “yes sir, right away, we’ll throw them to the wolves” , a superintendent that is clueless on what it’s like to work the street because he’s never done it…

There’s Officers out there doing their job in spite of what BS they have thrown at them. There’s Officers like Tim Gould… Nice Job!

If he was on Jody Who Has Our Backs shit list it is too bad for him.

The good thing in the Jody Who Has Our Backs tenure here will be when his contract isn't renewed by the Stuttering Prick in less than two years and Jody packs up again and scampers out of town.

Then we might get a contract.

not too often you see all positive comments about the actions of an officer. Usually there is someone trashing his/her actions. But in this case, there is no trashing of Tim cause he is a stand up guy and a great policeman. I too had the pleasure of working mids in 005 with Tim back in the day and to him, this was second nature. Nice job buddy!!! Glad you're safe. Not sure if he would even want it but heres a guy that would be a great meritorious sgt. Something for his current and or former gold stars to think about. Great Job TIMMY!!!!!!!
