Oh, Canada!

Something most people are unaware of concerning our neighbor to the north. Their justice system is even worse than ours:
  • A Canadian court has ruled that an immigrant who beheaded a fellow passenger on a Greyhound bus and then ate his eyeballs is not criminally responsible for his actions because he has a “mental disorder.” The decision, which follows a series of spectacularly lenient judicial rulings in Canada in recent years, has outraged ordinary Canadians, who say that left-wing judges increasingly are sacrificing justice and common sense on the altar of bleeding-heart political correctness.

The high-profile murder case involves 41-year-old Vincent Weiguang Li, a man from China who immigrated to Canada in 2001. After more than half a decade of generous support (bilingual education, free housing, health care, and affirmative action) from the Canadian government to help him get settled into his new country, Li ended up divorced and unemployed.
Gee, "...bilingual education, free housing, health care, and affirmative action..." Does this sound like any place we might know?

In any case, this has opened up a huge debate in Canada. And what is driving a large portion of the discussion? Chicago's very own Chalkie!
  • As Canadians engage in a national debate over what to do about killers like Li, violent crime is on the rise all across the country. This could spell big trouble for the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games, which are set for February 2010. Vancouver is currently experiencing and unprecedented wave of gang-related murders, which has officials worried that tourists will stay away.
This sounds more and more familiar. We just can't place our fingers on it.

Additionally, we're now wondering if Chalkie is Canadian.

Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sale Act of 2009.

Here we go....this will pass quickly if they do it the same way they did the stimulus package. Put a half dozen democrats in a room to write it, and bring it back for a vote.

http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h45/show

Very Important for you to be aware of a new bill HR 45 introduced into the House. This is the Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sale Act of 2009. We just learned yesterday about this on the Peter Boyles radio program.

Even gun shop owners didn't know about this because it is flying under the radar. To find out about this - go to any government website and type in HR 45 or Google HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of
2009. You will get all the information.

Basically this would make it illegal to own a firearm - any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless:

*It is registered.
*You are fingerprinted.
*You supply a current Driver's License.
*You supply your Social Security #.
*You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any
time of their choosing.
*Each update - change or ownership through private or
public sale must be reported and costs $25 - Failure to
do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm
and are subject up to a year in jail.
*There is a child provision clause on page 16 section 305
stating a child-access provision. Gun must be locked
and inaccessible to any child under 18.

They would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing your gun safely away from accessibility to children and fine is punishable for up to 5 yrs. in prison.

If you think this is a joke - go to the website and take your
pick of many options to read this. It is long and lengthy. But, more and more people are becoming aware of this. Pass the word along. Any hunters in your family - pass this along.

Peter Boyles is on this and having guests. Listen to him on KHOW 630 a.m. in the morning. He suggests the best way to fight this is to tell all your friends about it and "spring into action". Also he suggests we all join a pro-gun group like the Colorado Rifle Association, hunting associations, gun clubs and especially the NRA.

This is just a "termite" approach to complete confiscation of guns and disarming of our society to the point we have no defense - chip away a little here and there until the goal is accomplished before anyone realizes it.

This is one to act on whether you own a gun or not. If you take my gun, only the criminal will have one to use against me.

HR 45 only makes me/us less safe. After working with convicts for 26 years I know this bill, if passed, would make them happy and in less danger from their victims.

http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h45/show

Please... Copy and send this out to EVERYONE in the USA ..

"Additionally, we're now wondering if Chalkie is Canadian."

C'mon, every body knows that the person we call Chalkie goes by many aliases, depending upon the language of the area of the the planet where he practices his trade.

Hell, the knuckleheads from our own 2016 Olympic committee gave us a hint recently, ie., by changing their former slogan because:

"Chicago's efforts to host the 2016 Olympics will no longer 'Stir the Soul', after changing its bid tagline today to 'Let Friendship Shine.'

The switch was made after difficulties in translating the original slogan.

'In a couple of different languages, it meant - Stir Your Insides - which is not what we intended it to be,' said Valerie Barker Waller, director of marketing for Chicago 2016."

I wonder what name Chalkie goes by in countries other than the U.S.A.?

I would like to send a big thank you for a break I received from a certain Indiana State Trooper who related to me that he is a frequent visitor on this site. This officer could write the book on "Professional Courtesy". Polite, respectful, professional. Whether you are a rookie cop in a 50 person town 1000 miles away or you are boss on a big city department, we must remember that we are all on the same team and we should extend a courtesy to each other at all times.
The reason why this really hit home with me is that recently I was treated exactly the opposite by an Oak Lawn amatuer. While curbed for no signal during lane change, the officer's first line was "you better have a f@#$ing license." I then gave him my D.L. along with my CPD ID card without saying a word. This douchebag then said,"Oh, let me guess, you are on your way to work and you're running late. You know that you're not in Chicago where you can get away with driving like an asshole, you're in Oak Lawn." He then tossed my ID's onto my lap and walked back to his squad.

Both these experiences have reminded me the true difference between a Professional and wanna-be. Stay safe.

I too, had a similar experience traveling in southern Illionois this week. I got stopped both going and coming home. I was going about 80+ each time. First guy was a county sheriff and the second time was a state trooper. I gave them the respect they deserved and in return they were nothing but gentlemen. Once they saw my CPD ID they wished me well and sent me on my way. It's good to see that there are still guys out there who understand and can see the big picture. A big CPD than you to both of you.

They should have / could have made 1000 times that number of arrests.

The standards I hold myself and my neighbors to are not the same as the Bud Billiken standards.

This department has let this parade get completely out of control. It won't be long before "show your tits" becomes the theme with Art Man broadcasting it from one of the floats.

I'm embarrassed that people in this neighborhood even want the parade anymore. Everyone turns the other way and ignores the 14 year-old girl passed out in the street or the 40 year-old man stumbling alongside his young kids with vomit on his shirt.

The parade says more about the residents than the suburban drunks who come to visit. The residents continue to hold this parade knowing what is going happen.

The parade is a fucking disgrace and it should end.

It is "sold" as a showcase for the Beverly area. If I were a first time visitor, and I observed this shit I would never come back and take every opportunity to bum rap the neighborhood and the parade. As to blaming the police? Not a chance. Blame the attendees, the police do the best that they can with an impossible situation. Too many people in too small an area, and too much of the old (by parents) we did it, they are just having fun. Fun? Ask the people who were taken to the hospital with alcohol poisoning, or the coppers who had to wrestle and fight with these drunken jagoffs. I will say this, I did see some good old fashioned police taking charge, and it did my heart well to see it. I got a few licks in myself. End the fucking thing before there is a real tragedy.

2nd, how is requiring private sales of firearms to be regulated promblematic?

3rd, this does nothing to impede your right to own a firearm, what it does is impede your (non)right to buy a pistol from JoJo who just got back from Indiana.

There was a fight a Ruby Red night club Saturday night, in which a white male was jumped by a black male and hispanic male after the white male attempted to break-up a fight between two girls. During the dispute the hispanic male pulled out a knife and stabbed the white male. In the process of stabbing the victim the hispanic male missed and ended up stabbing himself and his friend during the struggle. Witness heard the subjects yelling "lets F%$k this white boy up". The white male is in critical condition, he lost his spleen and his lung collapsed. Very little news and none on race what if this was in reverse? Subjects are in custody, what are the chances of a hate crime? That area has been seeing an increase in violence in which minorities have been attacking whites. Be careful when going out.

The Southside parade didn't get like this overnight. This parade has been getting worse every single year.

The downtown parade was once a mass brawl with glass shattered all over the street. The next year the police locked up hundreds. Slowly but surely, the college-aged crowd stayed away.

The 19th Ward and 22nd Dist command staff have intentionally kept arrests low and look at the mess this parade has become. There were buses comming from as far as Southern Illinois University.

I hear strong rumors that this may have been the last parade. I can only hope.

>>>What has always bothered me about this story is that all the people on this bus RAN off the bus, letting this poor kid be stabbed to death and mutilated and not one of these goddam cowards made a move to intervene. People just suck.

The offender must have been armed with a one hell of a knife to take off the poor guy's head.

AND NO ONE HAD A LEGALLY CONCEALED HANDGUN!

All they could do was call Dudley Do-Right, who took almost four hours to get there in the wild Canadian plains.

Stay safe, it will not be long until our department is so short staffed that it will take us 4 hours to get to a Cannibalism in Progress call.

See the video, "Surviving Edged Weapons."

Enraged crazy man has just decapitated a passenger with a butcher knife so who is going to fight this guy in the confines of a bus?

I have a lot of respect for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, who took this goof down with a TASER.

Maintiens le droit!
