Kids are in school 'til after 3. Another brilliant idea.
wow, under 1 free!!!! Ah,1 person or 1 year olds? Are diapers provided or do we just toss the shi"ite onto the rink?
My 8 yr old kid is better than anyone on the CPD Hockey team.
LOL. My kids are in school til 3:30. Who planned this time? IDIOT!
I like fun and great times! Any beer or chicks at these games? Where can I sign up?
It's kids under 12 free per the FOP website.
Children 12 and under are admitted free, but everyone attending will need a ticket. Tickets are available at the United Center Box Office.
It should read kids under 12 are free
It is the only day/time they could use the United Center ice.
If you have newborns or babies please don't bring them.
Only $5 ?
Do you still have to pay $10 or $15 for parking ?
The cpd stars that play in that game are all the "great" players only! where are all the avg players from the other cpd teams? Just like all the other jobs on the dept it is all who you know. Go fire!

When you're cool like Tobias and the Union guys, you get the perks.
geeze another 8 ur old's father who thinks his kid is gonna make the NHL.....or the nfl, mlb, etc...im sure ur the same guy ive seen at my nephews game bitching and screaming at the coach.....gfy!
This year is like the year they had these teams playing on a Sat morning @ 0800 hrs......I think its time to move this game to another rink (johnnys ice house, or the chicago park dist rink located by gorden tech).....make the game on a sat evening or sat afternoon, $5- donation....can have an after party with kids and families....in NY they pack madison square garden with thousands of people....i know they have about 30,000 cops etc but they make this game exciting! The games can and have been exciting but it's dwindling....to answer the ??? earlier about the other CPD hockey teams....they also have a charity game against a suburban fire dept at ROSEMONT HORIZON sometime after this game in march. So everyone gets the chance to play on the big ice somewhere.
What's wrong with all you "negative" people out there. Have a little pride in yourself, your job & your co-workers. I'm getting so tired of reading negative comments ALL the time on this blog. I know it has been said before, but it's worth saying again. If you are so miserable with what you are doing, resign & this department will be better off without you.
This hockey game is a CHARITY event. The ice time is donated to the police/fire departments by AHAI (Amauter Hockey Association of Illinois). After the police/fire game is the boys & girls high school state championship games. Do you think AHAI has a website set up so miserable, negative people can bitch like "you"?
Come out, support both teams & try and have fun. Maybe put a smile on your face & "you" will become a better human being.
actually saw the game last year and it was disappointing to say the least.....but on the positive note I noticed the team did get some new talent....some old faces were rplaced with new ones.....still not the best team the cpd could put out there but its getting better....and im not a hockey player. Im a fan anytime someone can beat the fireman in something......i mean they only work 82 or something days a year.......go CPD!
