BULLSHIT!

Quit your crying and whinning you little piss ant.

If you want to go - put in a slip! Enough said. Do not try to get on here and blame the 10 hour day tour as a reason you can't go. That is just BS. If you want to go to a soccer game that bad then spend 10 hours. You just made 15 on the last holiday.

And if you are so worried about seeing the family, then do not go to the game. Go spend time with the family. What's that, say you? Oh yea, sure, you were going to bring the family to SXU, tomorrow, when it will be cold out, to go watch some lame ass soccer game.

I am sure you are not bitching when you are off for the four days, and if you had some sense, like most of the people who are on the 10 hour days right now, you would throw a day in and be off for a week. Plenty of time for you and the family.

Doesn't say what the sport is, but as long as it's for a good cause and there's (a moderate amount of) beer there who the hell cares!

I wouldn't say that shit to those coppers from Brooklyn and the South Bronx, girlie man. You'd end up in traction wearing a "turban".

Also, check out Australian football (aka: soccer). Just like the NFL except they don't wear helmets and pads.

Shut up and learn how to spell-the word is Headquarters. If you don't like ten hour days, bid out. Quit whining. You want to be part of the thing? Then if you can't go send a donation to the Foundation. Or are you just looking for something to whine about? Jerkoff.

Bunch of fucking whiners. If the sport is such a lame ass sport i'm sure the guys on the soccer team could appreciate you going down to a practice and showing them a thing or two. That's if you can get your fat ass off the couch.

Don't get too attached to the 10-hour day, the department already doesn't like it, so it won't last past the trial phase; looks like the 6 8 1/2's with three off every week is going to win, it's only an extra 20 minutes a day to get three off a week.

"Tell (the NYPD) that they better return the favor when we head to NY. - 3:34 AM

Just shut up with your ULTIMATUM to the finest bunch of coppers outside the CPD.

Many of us who have visited the Apple, be it an extradition or just a vacation, could not encounter greater "hospitality" than that bestowed upon us by our NYPD brothers (and sisters). In my first visit to NYC as CPD (011), my girlfriend and I were driving through Greenwich Village when I made a "misdrive". I looked in the mirror and saw the RMP with lights flashing.

They pulled me over. One approached and asked for my driver's license as his partner stood back at the ready. I opened my wallet. The midday sun glistened off my CPD "button". The copper asked "What's that?" I politely explained that I was off-duty CPD. I had my jacket off and was also wearing an exposed shoulder rig.

The copper turns back to his partner and shouts "Hey, Vinnie! He's a coppah from Sha-kah-gah." Then, both tell us we (the CPD) were "great" during the (1968) Democratic Convention. It ends up with them treating us to a fantastic pasta lunch at a trattoria in the Village. I left a huge tip.

Then they called a pct. in Queens and set us up with a motel room across the East River near LaGuardia. The price was right.

On many visits since, these guys rolled out the "blue carpet" for CPD.

That night, we ended up in a copper bar in da Bronx. They kept buying us beers. A wonderful bunch of guys with the funniest fuckin' stories about "da job".

Again, no ULTIMATUMS please. If any of you guys encounter polite, respectful outside LEOs and certainly the NYPD, bend over backwards to provide them with the very best that "Sha-kah-gah" has to offer. Generally, the NYPD are "da REAL muthafuckin' PO-leese". Treat them with the warmth and respect which they so truly deserve.

.

10 hour days.....I love it. Department can't arbitrarily decide to switch from 10 hour days. Don't believe me, check with the FOP ! 10 hr days rule!
