So "the List" is out there, protected by the thinnest of judicial orders that relies entirely upon the goodwill of lawyers and the competency of a law clerk who doesn't "accidentally" photocopy part or all of "the List" and mail it out to a plaintiff, another law office, a media outlet.
We imagine it'll be public before the end of the year.
In the meantime, we call upon the leadership of the FOP and anyone else in a position of power who might actually "have our backs" to attempt the following:

- They want a list of everyone with five or more complaints in nine years? Fine.
We want a list of everyone who has ever filed multiple complaints against police officers. Two complaints and your name is public fodder for speculation as to why you are screwing up your life so badly that the police have to be involved in it multiple times.
We also want a list of the resolutions. If you make multiple complaints in a nine year period and they all turn out to be bullshit, your name is thrown onto a list of nuisance complainers and you will be prosecuted under existing state law for false statements. Additionally, officers are eligible to receive free legal help in suing the nuisance complainers for anything they can get.
It only seems fair.

F.O.P. won't do a thing. Donahue is a lame duck president, and his underlings are grooming their spots for the years to come, so they're not rocking the boat either. When this team ran 6-7 years ago, they promised that we weren't going to go years without a contract, that they were going to hire professional labor attorneys to do the negotiating, so we wouldn't get screwed over for years. They said they were going to come out to the districts more than once a year, to take our suggestions, listen to us, and fight for us. How many times have they been out to your roll calls? Maybe 1 time since the election?! Not at all? Not where I'm at. What about at the meetings? They do all the decisions among the execuctive committee, so is your opinion really considered? For those who say, "stop bitching, go to the meeting and voice yourself.", I have. Didn't work. Then you say, "vote em' out.". I did. Voted against every one of them. They are still there. How come this list is getting released, and F.O.P. barely makes a sound. Donahue was quoted by phone. Get your ass in front of a camera and stand up for us. This administration is walking all over us and you do nothing. Next election, remeber this entire team and vote against them. All they care about are themselves, supporting their hockey team friends, and pushing through what they want, without representing the p.o.'s that work in the districts. Not units...districts.

I was watch FOX 32 this morning. They were showing a list of officers with more than 10 complaints. Are these lists out already?
Why did the judge not issue a GAG ORDER on the media. Threaten them with big fines if they somehow get hold of the list and publishes it.
Maybe Jody ought to change the way C.R.s are investigated. If an accused officer is not identified by the complainant, no affidavit is signed, then the investigation should end with, "Accused: UNKNOWN." Not kicked back to the sergeant and told to go through the A & As and dispatch logs and try to determine who may or may not have been there for this bullshit beef.
The other thing that FOP reps say the city want to do is to hold CR records forever.

This is absolutely ridiculous...Let's say for instance, you get one measly CR per year...just one in 365 days...you are on the list. To me, only having one CR throughout an entire year is doing a damn good job! Especially considering, citizens will complain about anything and everything cops do, because they think the police are supposed to be perfect. The police are humans too, humans make mistakes...Robots even screw up every once in a while.
File multiple complaints against Loevy and Loevy, Peoples Law Office,and any other law firms that engages in harassing, overreaching, demeaning behavior.

Let's get some undercover persons, not police officers, to try to get that list from theose lawyers. Pose as investigative reporters for Pam Zek-person, or or some lawyer who is always suing the police. Offer a bribe to a secretary, or even a janitor, if they get the list shove it in the judges face and say SEE!
Let's see if the judge will move to disbar that attorney.

A list of Attorneys who have received ARDC complaints.
A list of Attorneys who have given campaign contributions to the Daley machine, and a comparison with the above lists.
Lastly,

All of you need to start filing complaints against lawyers. I dont know where to file those complaints (Illinois State Bar Association?) but it would seem Flint Taylor and his merry band of theives should get a taste of what its like.
First of all no one has to cooperate with the internal process, including signing the affidavit for IPRA, except those that are required to do so by their employement agreement, i.e., the police officer. And since the employee doesn't have to unless a complainant signs one first, the entire interal process is a useless fishing expedition to limit liability for the CPD which has zero benefit to the complainant. If I am signing an affidavit, my attorney is drafting it along with a complaint of law and discovery which will commence in a court of law. Then and only then will you or anyone have my evidence. So, don't assume that because someone doesn't sign the useless affidavit it is bullshit. Some people don't sign the affidavit because they are afraid of what the headcase will do and don't want him to skid off the planet from the scrutiny and/or loss of employment. The only thing I find prudent to have is a police report of every occurrence so I can give it to the judge and my family has recourse if and when a situation that the Chicago Police Department should have kept under control did not. The list, remember, has some people on it that have done something wrong. Just because the list doesn't say that does not mean it didn't happen.

What the hell are you talking about??? Have you been asleep for the last decade. All of your CRs, no matter what the finding is our kept. Do you not remember the whole BIS scandal? If you had more than (20) complaints in (5) years no matter if all (20) were exonerated (which means you did exactly what you were accused of, but were appropriate in doing so), you were still on the list. Wake up...or come up for air from underneath that desk and see the world through an actual copper's eyes.
What needs to be revamped is the C.R. process. Since liberal judges said the list needs to be turned over fine that just means the city should be smart enough to change the C.R. process. You but and extra step in there between the Complaint taken and when changes to a C.R. For instance I recieved a CR for not investigating a traffic accident. The person who complained didn't like the tickets so she complained. But there was an accident report that means the CR was bullshit and never should of been taken. The rule needs to be changed that the police don't need to take every CR. Also one more example getting a CR on a officer for racial profiling a person in there own community. This is the problem 99.9% are pure lies and shows the hatered toward the police. People will bitch but hey they asked for it.

Couln't he have waited and maybe at least bluffed and see what happened in court this morning. Also, why does this fool have bodyguards? 1 m/1 and m/2. At least they didn't show the m/1 opening his door. That would have been so politically incorrect. The m/2 had the honor of that. There was also a driver but didn't catch his race. What was Ald. Ed Smith doing down there? Isn't there crime on the west side that this fool should be working on?

Maybe you could get Kass to see if he could get his hands on some of those CRs and see how many of the complainers are repeaters. How many of theCRs were unfounded. It's hard for the officers to get that done.
I like the idea of finding a group of lawyers that are sympathetic to the police and somehow represent you in court or class action suits. The "Revs" aren't the only ones who can do class action suits.
