- Former Gov. Rod Blagojevich, his brother Rob and Christopher Kelly, a former top fundraiser for Blagojevich, were all indicted today on corruption charges, the U.S. attorney's office in Chicago announced.
Also charged in the indictment were Lon Monk, a lobbyist and former Blagojevich chief of staff; John Harris, also a former chief of staff to Blagojevich; and William Cellini, a Springfield insider for decades.

You did a supurb job urging CPD to unite in such great numbers to protest unfair treatment from the city. God knows, the FOP was not responsible. This demonstration was long overdue & FOP leaders should be ashamed that today's successful turnout was in large measure due to your efforts.
Unfortunately, Daley was going to make sure to rain on your parade.
When I heard the indictments were going to be announced this afternoon it further convinced me that Fitz is under Daley's thumb. It was timed specially to divert attention away from your message.
Fitz has had almost four full months to announce this, and he picks today. Do you believe in coincidence?

Just wanted to add a funny exchange i had with a middle age guy while walking to the march from the subway, a guy states to me wow that's a lot of officers marching. Seeing that he was a nice person, I mentioned to him that we made a deal with our prisoners, that if they march with us we let them out of the lockup and that is why it appeared there were so many officers marching. He thought about my reply for about three seconds and then looked me in the eyes, during which we both started laughing, what a cool way to start the morning/march.

OK seriously now, tracking cell phones? Better yet, tracking cell phones downtown? I also heard that the dept. is subpenaing every GM owners onstar records to see how long they spent at which bars and how fast they drove after. They're also behind the jewel and dominicks preferred card's to see what unhealthy foods and how much alcohol you're buying.

Think about it. It's a certain that Blago is going to jail. The fed's are going to show Blago 'some' of the incriminating evidence vs. Patty and ask him to give up someone else ( Shortshanks!!??) or she'll go down too. When they ask him who will take care of their children when BOTH of them are in jail, Blago would sink anyone faster than the mayoral hog hitting a pothole.

They don't have to spend that kind of money to do that. Hey mayor midget and stuperintendant weis, I am a Chicago Police Officer and I can proudly say I was at the march. Come to our roll calls and ask, the majority of us are proud to have participated and would be even more proud to tell those two wastes of oxygen we were there. Please try to fire/ suspend/ reassign me for exercising my first ammendment right as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. Sorry daley but there are still some laws you can't take away from us, even in this cesspool you call chicago.
