J-Fed = Harbinger of Doom

J-Fed attended an "anti-violence" rally and march Saturday. We don't know if he spoke or just marched and flexed his muscles, but what followed the next day was nothing short of epic:
At one point, the top six stories at BreakingNews.com were shooting related, so we can only assume that (A) the Shortshanks embargo on death and mayhem reporting lapsed or (B) someone was asleep at the editor's desk.

And once again, it was not a warm weekend.

Oh Crap!!! That means that 8 tax payers won't be around to help fix the budget deficit. Now everyone else has to come up with a few extra pennies to cover those dead fools.

Yes, Jody spoke and he was his usual articulate but out of touch with Chicago reality self. The far more interesting point is how he got caught on camera rolling his eyes and looking bored out of his mind while he was marching. It's one of those "you have to see it to understand why it's worth mentioning" things so check out the footage at www.cltv.com

A police officer was critically injured early Monday in a shooting in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side, authorities said.

The attack occurred about 12:30 a.m. in the 6000 block of South Hermitage Avenue, police said.

The male officer was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, said Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford.

Police backup and an ambulance were called to the scene.

Police dispatch said officers were searching for a blue vehicle with four male occupants that might have fled north from the scene of the shooting.

Two vehicles found at undisclosed locations were being inspected in connection with the case as of 1:45 a.m., police said.

Details to come.

My sentiments exactly. These ridiculous rallies do nothing other than create a TV opportunity for His Highness, Father Phleger, Jody, etc. They are a total waste of time. If the participants want change, they need to enact it and marching around the hood isn't the same as calling 911. If the marches helped, there wouldn't be any violence left in the city to march about anymore since they go on all the time. It's all about His Highness looking like he is helping the serfs and peasants.

With all that has gone on lately, I blame Daley and Weis. The violence against the police is out of control. We have been catstrated because Daley gives a shit more about lawsuits and being politically correct than the police. His blatant disrespect for us carries on to the streets. People don't fear the police anymore. Thanks to him and no balls Weis, we have no respect on the street. Our mayor, superintendent and the rest of the bosses don't back us up one ounce. We have lost 4 police officer's in less than a year. It is a fucking war zone on the street. The scum are not afraid of us and will shoot or injure us any way they can. There is no fear of retaliation. Daley need to go and we need a mayor, a superintendent and bosses who will back us up and give us our balls back. We are short handed, overworked and scrutinized for every little thing. When I came on, I never thought the day would come where you can't even do your job in the slightest way for fear of being sued or fired, even if in the right. All I can say is how any copper can be on the Mayor's bodyguard detail, with the way he looks at us like we are pieces of shit. All the money in the world couldn't get me babysit the little mumbling prick. I'd kick his ass out of the town car in the middle of the ghetto with a bullseye painted on his back. Weis if you were any type of person and not another puppet, you would grow a pair and let us be the police again. You would instruct the brass to back us up and let us take back the streets. Time to wake up. I must be fucking dreaming. Weis has turned into a Daley clone. Holding hands with the idiots and singing Kumbaya. Fuck this city, let it burn. All I worry about is my family, including my brothers and sisters in blue. Everyone else, you're on your own.

Out of touch with reality, period. The man doesn't seem to be able to stand being inside his own skin. Weis dresses worse than many blind men -- they know right where everything is. One minute a Bears sweatshirt, then he sees that mentioned here and puts on a T-shirt with a suit jacket over it and a little star in the lapel and goes on TV again. Does he keep a bag of laundry behind the seat and kind of reach around into it?

He's so chillingly weird that I can really sense why Daley gravitated to him.

Is Weis getting botox treatments from Teresa Gutierrez' guy?

Oh, God. I think SCC mentioned his forehead the other day. That would do it...
