On 27 May 2009, at the corner of 98th and Halsted, Police Officer Densey Cole was involved in a violent traffic crash. Officer Cole has been hospitalized at Christ Hospital for treatment of the serious injuries that he sustained. His family has been with him around the clock. Please keep Officer Cole and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Take the letter to a Kinkos or UPS Store, they have scanners and will scan it for you, then email it as an attachment to SCC at

First off, no one knows about the LETTER until they are already in the site. Do you think SCC has people out with banners on the street saying "I've got a letter, I've got a letter?" SCC does not need LIES to get more traffic. The lies are already out there and they are created by the politicians. Those lies are enough. You must be new to the site because what you are insinuating is not SCC's style.

Just wondering, what do you have against Capt. Barnas? I bet you're the same person who kept posting negative things about the Capt., but, you never gave any reason why you're bitching. The Capt. , for what I've heard is about to retire soon. I worked for this guy when he was a Sgt. and Lt. in two diff. districts until he got promoted to Capt. and got transfer in 017. I've never heard anyone complain about him until he went to 017 where there's a bunch of whiners like yourself. Do your assigment and research about his resume and what he's done for more than 20 plus years before you spread rumors.

Duggan sent a memo after Alex got murdered. He said that it was a direct result of not enough traffic stops. It all comes down to numbers. He states "shame on us!" Shame on him. He should resign. What Dugan said in his letter is part of the reason morale has been crushed. He is a typical big shot know it all boss that has no idea what's happening on the streets. He sits in his big shot chair collecting a big check and driving his company car. He has no worries about money, a contract or losing his job. He does not have to be accountable for anything. He is an assclown and we do not respect him or trust him.
