Officer Cole Moved
From the comments:
- OT, but I wanted to get this out to you....Injured P.O. Densey Cole left for Denver this morning. He was flown out of Midway and the flight was scheduled for 2.5 hours. No telling how long he will be there-probably many months. He was in good spirits, as usual, and wants to get started on his rehab. He and his wife have again asked that their thanks be passed along for all of the visitors, cards, flowers and prayers. You know what he asked for? A piece of banana cream pie. Soon Densey, soon.
As soon as we get word of an address, we'll get it to the readers.
And maybe we bury the rehab center in banana cream pies after that.

God speed, brother!
I never met you Densey BUt get well soon my brother
Gotta love his spirit. I hope your recovery is fast.
SCC I am glad that you continue to update us on this officer. I don't know him but what happened to him could happen to anyone of us. I also admire his upbeat spirit and I also believe firmly that his positive attitude and all of the prayers we send for him will help in his recovery.
You're ok scc.
Work hard Densey, and does the wife have sisters? Cause if there are any more like that at home I want one. :)
THANK YOU OFFICER for the updates on Officer Cole. Though I dont know either one of you, it sounds like Officer Cole is a great guy and you are a great friend.
THANKS.
Whenever you think your having a bad day think of this guy. Does the family need any dough.
What is his condition status? Is it still possible he may be paralyzed, or has he gotten past that threat already?
Densey,
You are a true inspiration. Best of luck to you and Mary, see you soon!!
Rock
get well densey prayers are with and your family
I hope he makes a full recovery and lives to be an elderly old man eating banana cream pies for the rest of his days. I'm so happy to hear he's in good spirits! Keep fighting brother!!!!
SCC please stay on this and keep us updated. With all the shit most of us have going on we tend to forget things if only for a while. So an update now and then will ensure that DC is not forgotten.
Came on the job with Densey. Chuckled when I read comment that he was in "good spirits--as usual." That is Densey! Always had us laughing. No doubt he will pull through this! Thoughts and prayers are with you, my friend. 92-4D!!
Mermaids Bakery & Pie House in Denver will make miniature (sized for 1-2 people) Banana Creme Pies for him as a special order. Each pie is $4. The delivery cost to Denver area is approx $15. Their phone number is 303-534-0956. You can ask for Diana if the teenage girl in the phone gets confused. Up to you if you want to do a lot of pies together, or have people order individually. They also will do a full size pie ($22 + delivery) if preferred.
hey den you can do it and I'm praying for you brother... SMF
I was down to 022 last week. A P.O. told me that the DAC chair had flowers sent to Densey, and had brought get well cards in to the DAC and beat reps' meetings. We have supporters in some areas!
HE DOESN'T ALWAYS DRINK BEER, BUT WHEN HE DOES , HE PREFERS DOS EQUIS. HE IS UNDOUBTLY THE MOST OUTGOING,FUNNY,FRIENDLY P.O. YOU'LL EVER KNOW. GET WELL AND STAY THIRSTY DENZ.
Any fundraiser for Densey in the making?
Also, any update on the 18th district officer videotaped on the bus attempting to remove the mope who didn't pay? What was the outcome of the CR number?
Civilian post:
It is highly likely Officer Cole will be at Craig Hospital, 3425 S. Clarkson St., Englewood, CO 80113, main # (303) 789-8000. God bless Officer Cole and grant him a speedy recovery, and God bless CPD for all you do.
Densey is one stand-up P.O.! Good luck! I hope to tip a few with you when you get through this.!!!!!
I'm not far from Denver.
Banana cream pie? Done.
If anybody knows what he wants to wash the pie down with, post it and I'll bring that too.
Does anyone know if his cards/letters will be forwarded out to him? My daughter wrote him a little note and sent him a few things I hope it made it in time.
Good luck to Officer Cole!
SCC:
Please give us an address where we can send cards and I would like to send something to the groom and bride. I hope there will be some kind of fundraiser for our officer.
Good luck with your rehab and God bless. Keep your chin up! You will win!
May God bless him!
NOTE to the youngsters; your lifestyle can be wiped out in a moment!
Any fundraiser for Densey in the making?
