Jail Fights
Why did they stop it so soon? This could have cleared the overcrowding even further:
- At least 11 Cook County Jail inmates were treated for stabbing injuries after a fight broke out at breakfast early this morning, authorities said.
Five of the injured inmates were taken to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries and six were treated at Cermak Hospital at the jail complex, said Brittney Blair, a spokeswoman for the Cook County Sheriff's police.
No guards were hurt, she said.
So since these are all Aggravated Batteries within the geographical boundaries of the 010 District, will 010 be getting a new Commander soon? Just wondering.

Everyone should be able to go to the jails and prisons and see what kind of lowlifes are locked up. They should walk through like I have and tour the facility. Prison the guards should be able to kick ass whenever these POS get out of line. Prison should be hard labor, I don't care who complains about it, once you are convicted of a felony you should never be able to file a lawsuit. I give credit to the jail guards for having to deal with these POS every single day and put up with there bullshit. Prison should not be a place to meet your friends and relative gang members, hang out, watch tv, eat 3 square meals, workout, get some drugs and continue to break the law. What kind of deterent is that? If you break the law you should realize the penalty is high and brutal. If that would ever happen you would not need as many cops.
The problem is with the corrections staff for not doing there jobs and enforcing melted plastic spoon laws. We need plastic spoons off our streets and out of our jails.
With melted plastic spoons around of course there will be stabbings and maybe deaths. Someone should organize a march around the Jail demanding tougher plastic spoon laws. How many more have to die because of spoon crime? Won't someone please think of the children. No law abiding person needs a plastic spoon now anyway, we aren't in frontier of wild west days. We at least need a one week cooling off period before a spoon can be possesed. Our founding fathers didn't even know about plastic so there is no way they would have wanted us to have them. Soup is just as good slurped from a soft cardboard bowl.
Why are we held hostage by these spoon nuts anyhow? That NSA is a crazy right wing lobby.

An Attempt Murder of a Chicago Police Officer occurred in the 26-2700 Block of North Clyborne yesterday (06 AUG 09) A car has been recovered from the offense and very few other details are available. I want to be the first to wish well to the PO's involved hoping that they are ok and unharmed. THIS IS WAR MUTHERFUCKERS. If I gotta come back (again) I PROMISE you there will be retribution for trying to hurt one of MINE. I PROMISE you I will find the ways and resources to shut that toilet Lathrop down. no, incorrect. CCSPD investigates the offenses that occur inside the jail, homicides too. the crimes were committed inside the geographocal limits of the City of Chicago and are reported as so
Sheriff's Police investigate homicides inside of the jail but who counts the stats???? Jody, you got some splainin too do.
