Never Ending

And the hottest weekend of the year coming:
  • Two women and a 5-year-old girl were shot and wounded in the Back of the Yards neighborhood Wednesday night.

Exact conditions were not available, but none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening, according to Fire Department and police spokesmen.

Authorities were called to the shootings in the 5100 block of South Winchester Avenue about 9:45 p.m.
  • Two men were shot and wounded, one critically, in a shooting tonight in the Canaryville neighborhood.

Both men were wounded in the 4500 block of South Wallace Street around 10 p.m. Wednesday, according to a Fire Department spokesman
  • A motorist was reportedly shot and killed tonight after paramedics responding to a car accident in the South Side's Brighton Park neighborhood discovered and the driver had been shot.

Fire department officials responded to the car crash near 36th Street and Albany Avenue at about 8:55 p.m., when they discovered the driver had been shot multiple times,
The average number of people shot daily seems to be climbing.

I only wish you could see my ear-to-ear grin every time I read "sad" news like this, SCC.

I find it funny how quickly the thugs in society have picked-up on what's going on with the police department (morale, "de-policing", etcetera) and used it to their advantage while the liberal, police-bashing pussies who've now become more frequent victims stand around shell-shocked unable to adapt.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but here it goes: the liberal, Obama-voting populous are getting the type of police that they wanted. I'm just wondering how much bullshit will be tolerated before we (the police) are begged to "take of business".

Note to the majority of the people of Chicago: I used to go out of my way to try and make a difference for the people of this city. I took great pride in being proactive and locking people up for a variety of crimes, heinous or otherwise. I thought it made a genuine difference. How wrong I was.

A criminal mayor, supplemented by a clout-heavy department of idiot supervisors, supported by fifty useless sheep called Aldermen, fostered by an uncaring citizenry, and accented by a forever-emboldened criminal element has created the perfect storm. This culmination of factors might undoubtedly be the end of a once-great department, not to mention a world class city.

Look! The Trib printed a description again!

http://www.chicagobreakingnews.com/2009/08/15-year-old-shot-after-road-rage-incident.html

In case it gets deleted...here it is again, at the very end of the blip.

A 15-year-old boy remained hospitalized today after being shot in the neck after a man involved in fender-bender with another driver brandished a hand gun and began shooting on an Englewood neighborhood street, police said.

The boy was a spectator and not involved in the shooting that happened at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 6900 block of South Throop, said Chicago Police Officer JoAnn Taylor.

The incident happened after a blue Oldsmobile and a red Pontiac were involved in a minor accident. After the accident, the two male drivers of the cars jumped out of the vehicles and began arguing, Taylor said.

After the argument the man driving the Oldsmobile brandished a hand gun and began shooting "blindly", Taylor said.

"[The teen] had nothing to do with the accident,'' said Taylor.

The boy had been listed in serious condition at the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital, Taylor said.

Police were looking for a African-American man in his 20s about 5-foot 8-inches to 5-foot 10-inches tall, weighing between 150 to 170 pounds, Taylor said. No one is was in custody, Taylor said.

Sorry Mr./Mrs. citizen of Chicago(who probably voted for Daley) We the understaffed police would love to help you and your neighborhoods but we can't. We don't have the cars, the equipment and most of all NOT ENOUGH MANPOWER.(Since your mayor won't hire more police or give us a raise)and lets not forget the police that are out there are in backlogs handling every retarded non-police related B.S. call. But don't worry all will be fine when Chicago gets the Olympics. Keep wishing since most of you citizens are living in fairytale land. Keep voting for Daley it will get much better(lol).

AGAIN, tax-paying citizens get srewed! if people in the city want all these parades/events-let them dip into their pockets and hire their own security. a lot of other cities are alredy doing that!

WRONG. Rambo graduated from Loyola U. law school, and passed the bar a few years ago. I don't like the idea of this complete idiot getting an extra dime out of a Police Dept. whose $310k a year worthless Supt. is asking everyone to 'understand and comply' with sacrifices, but under the definition of 'legal officer II,' Masters may have found to perfect loophole to take care of Ray Ray.
