Mysterious Crime Pattern
- Chicago police are warning the public about a series of four recent strong-arm robberies -- including two early Saturday -- in the Lincoln Park area during which a group of attackers severely beat victims and left them hospitalized.
The two robberies Saturday occurred at 3 a.m. in the 2000 block of North Cleveland Avenue and 3:36 a.m. in the 300 block of West Webster Avenue, police said in a news release. The release stated that two similar robberies took place Thursday at 2 a.m. in the 600 block of West Fullerton Parkway and at 2:05 a.m. in the 2100 block of North Stockton Drive.
In all four cases, the victims were approached from behind by several men believed to be in their early 20s, police said. The suspects demanded wallets and then beat the victims in the head and face.
But not a single physical characteristic of the offenders that might help warn a vigilant public and assist in the capture of the miscreants. It sure is amazing how far we've come as a society. And how far we've still got to go.

I saw one segment on CLTV at 9:30 AM with Aaron Baskerville who stated the attackers were African-American and Hispanic males (NFI). I'm not sure if they edited that out later but it was reported then.

And there was another one that took place last night in wriglyville. Offenders were a male black 6'2'' 200lbs with a dragon tattoo on his left arm and a black sweatshirt, and a male hispanic(or possibly black) 5'11'' 175 unknown clothing description.
They beat the guy up in the 600 block of west stratford and stole his wallet. These guys are randomly attacking men who are alone and beating and robbing them. Anyone who is in the area off duty better bring your gun with you. Hopefully these assholes will try to rob the wrong guy soon who will shoot them in the head.

This is not a pattern, but a practice, to pick off lone males on their way home after a weekend night out. It's been well established in 023 for a long time, the majority victims being of the (blank) persuasuion. Now if midnight watches weren't stripped to the bone, and the Tact teams worked their districts, we'd have even odds. I wanted to thank commenters on this blog for alerting me to the "oh no my foot is caught in the gap" trick that pickpockets have been using on El platforms. I saw it in action for the first time Sunday afternoon at State/Lake and was able to alert the mark, unfortunately the guys took off and I am not a cop so I wasn't about to get stabbed or something trying to hold them until you guys got there... my wife called CPD's "non-emergency" number and whoever answered the phone was a jerk. We just wanted to let you guys know that the scam was in operation there that day, but the guy says "You should have called 911"... I read enough on here about 911 being backed up with non-emergencies, and besides the offenders were long gone.
Anyway, thanks from a citizen for all that you guys do, and for the info on that scam. If I hadn't read about it here, that old guy would have lost his wallet and some shithead would be crack-rich for a day.

A few years back in the Lincoln Park area there was this rapist running around beating the crap out of the yuppie girls and "googling" them after. Wasn't made a big deal til some state reps daughter was a victim and believe me you could have walked across the area on squad cars from the lake to the river and never hit the ground. Only important to the department when someone important is the victim. Prior to that we suggested putting out a couple decoys and such but that never happened.
they did update the article stating they were black & hispanic. Well now why would you keep that information from the public? They need to know who to look out for.
It was after midnight and I was walking down an empty sidestreet in D.C.
Then I heard footfalls behind me. I turned around and it was only 3 white guys. I breathed a sigh of relief.

They are most likely south or west siders who come north to target sympathetic yuppies because they won't fight back, they are sympathetic and won't press charges, and they make poor victims and witnesses. You see, the criminals believe the north side is filled with stupid white folks who are easy targets. I've even had a few shitheads admit that much.
They beg out in front of your walgreens, take donations for organizations that don't exist, sell stolen m&ms claiming it's for charity, sell you fake tickets at cubs games, stand next to cars that are not theirs and ask for gas money... and when all the scams stop working they come up from behind, bust your head open and take your wallet. But that's ok, they're just poor and don't know any better...

The offenders are; a group of black men ages 15 to 20. Their MO is; they follow the victim and one offender sneaks up and starts punching and the other assholes follow up with the same. The beatings are severe. And then the take the property from the victim.

Soon normal folks like will be required to go outlaw to protect themselves if they have not already. Snethen, you are absolutely correct when you say these guys are catchable. We just need to get some coppers that know how to do it. My old tac team would have been on these guys like mud on a pig. Cowell,Ciukowski,Terrance,Sullivan just to name a few, would have these guys in the lockup by now. The problem is that all those guys that knew what to do are all retired now.
I have to admit; YUPPIE's can be very annoying and arrogant people who have a large sense of self entitlement, but at least they have jobs, contribute to society and pay taxes. This is more than I can say about the savages who abuse welfare, Link, and WIC.
So since I can't carry a gun because I'm just a lowly, law-abiding citizen, when I thump these assholes with my ASP, will you guys come to my aid, or arrest me for killing/maiming multiple "victims" that were after my wallet?

Yeah! that fat piece of shit jimmie carroll abused the medical for a year while occassionally sneaking out of town. This is the thing that juiced exempts do when they are deemed useless.
It's better that nobody says the race so that we won't stop certain types of people and have all of the yuppies in Lincoln Park beefing on us. Let them rob and do what they want.
